Ques. What is the expenditure of doing MBA from IIM Bangalore?

Ans. The total course fee of PGP at IIM Bangalore is Rs. 24,50,000. Apart from this, a caution deposit (general) of Rs. 15000, and a caution deposit (hostel) of Rs. 5000 is payable at the time of admission. Also, a mess advance of Rs. 30000 is payable each term.  The course fee of Rs 24.5 Lakhs consists of Tuition fee, Library fee, Internet charge, Case Permission Royalty, Course Material charge, Hostel Room Rent and Service charge, Medical Insurance fee, Personal Accident Insurance fee and Alumni Activity fee. The fee does not include Service Tax or any other form of taxes. If made applicable by law, taxes will be collected from the students separately at the prescribed rate.  Accommodations are available for PGP students, but one can opt for living outside the campus in the second year.  This is the total cost of pursuing PGP from IIM Bangalore.Read more

Here are some details regarding these options to assist you- Student Profile- The target students of ISB PGP and IIM Ahmedabad PGPX are slightly different. ISB prefers professionals with 2+ years of experience, and IIMA prefers those with 4 to 5 years of experience.  Ranking- IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and ISB are all highly ranked business schools. They are among the top 50 business schools in the world. All three are at par with one another. Batch size- ISB PGP intakes 500+ students at a time, and IIMA PGPX intakes 100+. A bigger batch size means more opportunities, while a smaller batch size means stronger teacher- student relations. Flagship Program- One year PGP is the flagship program of ISB. Ans. does an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad or IIM Calcutta make sense at 29 years of age? yes, it absolutely makes sense — and is actually quite common: the average work experience at IIM A/B/C is typically 2-4 years. but 7-8 years of experience (which 29-year-olds might have) is also present in every cohort older students with more work experience bring richer classroom contributions and often get higher-paying leadership roles post-MBA at 29, post-MBA careers will run for 30+ years — plenty of time to realize the ROI IIM A/B/C doesn't have an age cutoff. The rest of the fee is for- personal expenses, boarding, travel, course material, mess charges, library, internet, laptop and computer, alumni activity, and miscellaneous expenses. Registration fee is payable after admission offer is made by IIM Ahmedabad. This is the total fee breakdown for the PGPM course at IIM Ahmedabad.
