Ahmedabad Institute of Technology was established in 2004. The Institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad and is also approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
Ahmedabad Institute of Technology offers B.E program at the undergraduate level. MBA and M.E programs are offered at the postgraduate level.
B.E program is offered in 7 specializations in full-time mode. The minimum eligibility required for admission to B.E is 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational Subjects with 45% marks in aggregate.
Seats in seven specializations of B.E are offered according to the candidate’s score in GUJCET or JEE Main.
The full-time M.E program is offered in 2 specializations and eligibility required to apply is 50% marks in B.E./ B. Tech. or equivalent examination
However, to take admission to the M.E. course, candidate must pass GATE or PGCET with a valid score.
Two year-long, full-time MBA course is open for students with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in a graduation where seats are allocated on the basis of a valid score in CAT/MAT/CMAT or GMAT entrance exam.
The institution offers relaxation of 5% to the candidates belonging to the SC/ ST/SEBC category while admission.
