CMRIT Bangalore M.Tech: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. Yes. GATE score holders can apply directly to the institute for M.Tech admission, while Karnataka PGCET is the alternative state route through KEA counselling. GATE qualifiers also gain eligibility for the AICTE monthly stipend, which PGCET-only candidates do not receive.

Ans. Yes. Both the CSE and the VLSI Design and Embedded System specialisations carry a total fee of INR 1,28,000 for the two-year programme, or INR 64,000 per year. Karnataka PGCET government-quota seats are charged at lower state-regulated rates.

Ans. No. The AICTE postgraduate stipend of INR 12,400 per month is reserved for GATE-qualified full-time M.Tech students and is disbursed through the institute. Students admitted only through PGCET or the management quota are not eligible for this particular stipend.

Ans. The CSE track concentrates on advanced algorithms, machine learning, data analytics, cloud computing, and distributed systems.
