Diploma in Engineering Course Eligibility
Minimum eligibility to apply for Diploma in Engineering is having scored at least 35% marks in 10th standard or equivalent. Final Selection to the course will be done on the basis of scores obtained in JEXPO Entrance Exam.
B.Tech. Course Eligibility
Admissions to B.Tech. course are open for candidates passing 10+2 (Science Stream) or equivalent. Final selection will be based on JEE Main Entrance Exam Score.
M.Tech. Course Eligibility
Candidates seeking admission to M.Tech. program must hold Graduate Degree in Engineering. Selection of candidates to the M.Tech. program will be done on the basis of WBUT PGET Entrance Exam score followed by counselling conducted by MAKAUT.
MCA Course Eligibility
CIT offers two-year full-time MCA program to candidates with Graduation in Relevant Field. Final Selection to the course will be done on the basis of WBJECA Entrance Exam score.

Training & Placement Cell of the Institute is highly active and it works throughout the year for grooming the students and equip them to face Personal Interview (PI), Group Discussion(GD), Technical Interview and HR round etc. The Placement Cell organizes industrial training programs for pre-final students in various Training Organizations & Industries. In order to promote higher education, CIT offers a scholarship worth Rs. 40,000 to all the candidates taking admission in CIT. Apart from that an additional Scholarship worth Rs. 20,000 is offered to the candidates who take direct admission to the institute (those candidates who have a rank but did not appear for counselling).
