Calcutta Institute of Technology Howrah Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In this college after 4th semester students are eligible to sit for campus placements. There are more opportunities for students in campus placements if they have no back subjects or back papers in previous semesters. Companies like LnT, Maruti Suzuki , Tata Cummins, Kirloskar, Thoughtworks, CESC, Ceat visit our campus. The average package is not so high as b.tech or degree colleges because this is a diploma level course. But the average package is highest compared to other diploma colleges. Average package is around 3 to 4 lakhs per annum. Highest package is 8 to 10 per annum. As I said before every students who applied for campus placement got at least one offer. In many cases many students got more than one offer on campus. Students who not applied for campus placement are opting for higher education. Personally I am interested in higher education instead of opting for placements.

For campus placement students are eligible from 4th year and the companies visited here are:- tcs,Wipro,Amazon,ibm etc. the highest package is 14 lpa and the average package is around 3 lpa . There is around 90% placement rate.

Placement is very good here. Having excellence of more than 20 years in this college companies like tech Mahindra, Capgemini, Accenture, IBM, and mores comes every year for placement. Students got average package of 6-6.5 LPA. Students of 7th and 8th sem are eligible for placement. Likely 30-40% students getting their placement. I have planning for getting a good placement from here after completing my degree.

5th semester students become eligible for placement and also b tech course 4th semester students. many comapny are visit example tata, flipkart, tech mahindra, honda, maruti etc. minimum started 200000 lakh per year and highest pacakage after 8lakh . my plans are going good job in future.

from the last year begining the students would be eligible for sitting in placement. companies like flipkart,amazon came for recurting .the highest packege would be 3.5lpa. i dont think that this kind of placements are justified.

Actually B.tech 7th to 8th semester students are become the college campus placement.The many companies visited our college like Hero cycle, IBM, IAC electricals pvt.ltd, pattan pipes, Flipkart, zenus group,Helthans,etc

In btech total 8 semester....when you are in 7th semester that time the placement process is started... every week you will get one interview...and average package of the placement is 3 lpa..85-90% students getting placed ... currently I am working

This college placement are good you will complete the 5th semester final exam so you get campus placement and all placements are required minimum percentage of 60% .And my electrical department highest average package is 2.50Lakh

There are ment companies visit our campus and bulk students hire but if you don't they are responsibilities to off campus and getting the job. 50% of student have got their placement on the campus.

FROM FOUTH SEMESTER STUDENTS BECOME ELIGIBLE FOR CAMPUS PLACEMENTS EXACT NUMBERS I CAN NOT DESCRIBE BUT EVERY COMPANIES OFFER PROBABLY 25 TO 30 AND COMPANIES ARE BMW,PORSCHE,LAMBORGHINI,PATTON,L AND T,TATA,FLIPKART,AMAZON,COOLING TOWERS AND MANY MORE 95 % SOF STUDENTS GET PLACEMENTS REST WANT HIGHER STUDIES THAT IS WHY THEY ARE LEFT. I WANT HIGHER STUDY I WILL APPLY FOR B.TECH.
