An additional charge of Rs 5,000 is applied annually, alongside exam fees of Rs 300 per subject. Fee payments are flexible, with installment options available. The faculty in the Computer Science department, consisting of 15-20 members, are described as friendly and supportive, with many holding advanced degrees. Despite frequent faculty changes, teaching quality remains above average. Industrial visits are organized annually to provide practical exposure. Faculty focus on academic support, although time for skill development is limited.
Placement opportunities vary by branch, with Computer Science and Information Science seeing better outcomes. Companies like Amazon and Infosys recruit from the college, offering packages ranging from Rs 2 to Rs 12 lakhs, with the average around Rs 6 lakhs. About 20 companies visit annually, with a placement rate of 70-95% for eligible students in top branches, though fewer opportunities exist for Mechanical and Civil Engineering students. Internship offerings are limited, often only available at the end of the 6th semester.
Scholarships are primarily government-funded, with up to Rs 20,000 for general and OBC students, and Rs 65,000-75,000 for SC/ST students. There are no CET fees for SC/ST students. The college provides information on scholarships and facilitates education loans. Fee stability is maintained without hikes, and additional fees include Rs 15,000 for a skill lab. Scholarships from the college are limited to small gifts for academic toppers.
