Gargi College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The psychology of our college is renowned in whole delhi university. It has made a huge impact on my personality because of its diverse nature, I have been able to solve my daily life problems easily and more effectively. But I hope there was more outside learning as well and scope for individual perspectives.

After 3rd or 4th year they become eligible for placement..many companies like amazon micrsoft ....they come to provide placements...my plan is to pursue msc chemistry honours after bsc chemistry honours...i want to become professor in future

The palcement begins from the final year , semester 6 ( upto my knowledge ) for CBCS pattern. And For the NEP pattern no such placement criteria selection details are given. The average package of college is 5.35LPA and Highest package is 21LPA for 2023-2024 session. My future plans is pursuing higher education.

Placement cell is very much active, we have a group for each year separately where all the opportunity, placement, jobs, volunteering jobs are posted and whoever is interested can fill the given form. One can sit for the placement in their third year. Corporates like Boston Consulting Group, Bain and Company, Ernst and Young (E&Y), KPMG, The D.E Shaw Group, Accenture, PwC, Nation with Namo, Wipro, American Express, Deloitte India, Deloitte USI, NIIT, Genpact, Protiviti, Capital IQ, UrbanClap, Grofers, Zomato, Evalueserve, Inshorts, have been consistently recruiting from Gargi College for the past few years now. The highest package offered in the session 2023-24 was INR 21.05 LPA.

The placements at Gargi College are somewhat limited especially for Philosophy students. Students become eligible for campus placements starting in the sixth semester, but the opportunities can be sparse. Some companies do visit, but the number of offers is not high last year, we had a few local firms come in, and I heard about around 20 offers made overall. The highest package was decent, but it wasn’t anything like what you'd see for tech programs most students were looking at average packages that were pretty modest. I think around 30 to 40% of students manage to secure placements.

Very good i have chosen bcom honours course from delhi university. I believe this course is so good and also this course is one of the prestigious course of Delhi University. Bcom honours from delhi university, competition is very tough for this course. I have chosen this course to gain more my interest in commerce field.

Students in their pre final and final year are eligible for campus placement. I only remember Delloit company which was there in placements. Mainly commerce and economics students gets a good package during placements. About 40 % students gets placement in their 3rd year.

The students start getting placement in 3rd year of college. There have quite lot of companies vising for campus placement in Gargi like DE Shaw & Co, Accenture, Deloitte, EY, Wipro, KPMG, PwC, Willi Tower, Watson, and In shorts. etc. The highest package offered at Gargi College, University of Delhi in the 2023–2024 session was INR 21.05 LPA.

So my course is bsc mathematics I choose this course because of my interest in mathematics you can choose any course without worrying and if you have interest in any other courses you will also get that by choosing courses in ge,sec,vac and aec. By studying these extra subjects you will get to know many things.Taking about teaching methods so yeah they teaches really good you will understand everything but the problem is if you're not getting seat in front row and you'll have to seat in last row you are not able to hear things clearly so think they should install speakers for teachers or something so that the students of last row can also able to hear things properly.

The political science in general teach you everything about this world . It's combined with ancient history in its aspect of how the societies used to be run and what were the principles which had established the civilisations in general .and then we learn how the government of a nation build it's people's life and how the write society is just a complex structure where everyone is dependent on each other and how the morals and ethics and law and order keep people from ruining the society . It increases the comprehensive skills of a person regarding situations both in work and personal life .
