GITA Autonomous College Bhubaneswar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college placements start from 3rd year for the students. The companies that visited our campus last year were Urjanet, Hexaware, argusoft, digit, TCS, Capgemini, cozentus, and Devtron and around 85 % of students got placed. The Highest package offered was around 9LPA. Proper training is provided by the college to students before facing the campus.

After the 5th-semester students are eligible for campus placements. The companies like Infosys, TCS, IBM, and Amazon visited and the highest offer made was 1200000 per year . The highest package is 800000, the lowest package is 240000 and the average package is 480000. Profiles offered are HR and executive officer. About 70% of students get placements. After getting the degree I want to be in HR in a multinational company.

From the 7th semester, students became eligible for campus placement. Names of the companies are TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Infosys, Accenture etc . The highest package is 14 lakh per annum offered by TCS and Infosys. The avg package is 5lakh per annum offered by others. More than 60% of students are getting placed. After getting my degree I am wishing to get my dream company Infosys. Working there will be gonna very much excited.

I love computers, so I chose CSE to become a good and knowledgeable engineer. Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. Teaching quality is just okay, but teachers are sometimes unable to express themselves completely the way they want to. Language is one of the issues for non-Oriya students, as teachers here mostly interact in Oriya and sometimes English but rarely in Hindi. The teachers in our college are very helpful, as well as qualified and knowledgeable. The course is industry-ready, and the teachers are friendly. The college's events and fest are organised every year. Also, the college provides extracurricular activities. The semester exams are not tough. The college provides a question bank. If you are learning from the question bank then you can pass the semester exams. Teachers in our college are strict during exams but in classes, they are very good. Most of the teachers are doing M.Tech.

There are various companies that offer internship and learning program and give performance certificates like TCS, TATA MOTORS, MAHINDRA, WIPRO, ORACLE, ACCENTURE, and many more. we have to do certain projects to make it easy to get interns.

The placements are okay but not so good. Some companies visit the college for recruitment but most of them are start-ups and they offer packages below 4 lpa. The highest for this year was 7. some lpa. Well, I plan to appear at the gate and then do my master's.
