- Theirs teaching skill is very nice , they help each and every student to upgrade their skill.
- This college is very nice and in this college sports cultural program debate competition and dance music all is going well and so many activities like tree plantations like program.
- They always help us for scholarship matters, they also provide the good students job campus, they give so many employee opportunities for getting cracking interviews and getting job.
Dislikes
- Placement in it and cse are not so satisfying.
- College infrastructure is not good as expected.

- The college campus of this college is very friendly. Also respected seniors are behave very friendly woth us.
- This college provided many chances to get a placement for textile departments students
- a beautiful river Ganga flows in front of this college.
Dislikes
- It established on 1908. So some of the building is very old.
- Some of lab equipments are not available.
- The conditions of the classrooms are not good.
Placement Experience:
The on campus placements of this college is very good. More than 95% students from Textile Technology department got on campus placement in this year 2024. The highest package of this college in this year is 24 Lakh per annum & average placement is 7-8 Lakh per annum.

- The teacher where very helpful and they helped us in every situation.
- College management was very good and helpful.
- The labs were futuristic which helps students to get good practical knowledge.
Dislikes
- College ground was very small for any type of sport.
- College doesn't have a good quality canteen.
- Some of rooms were too much uncomfortable in summer.
Course Curriculum Overview:
If I had to rate course curriculum in terms of revalence and comprehensiveness I will read it 5 out of 5. Because of the extremely good internal exam system ,practical exam system and and semester exam system and the other curriculum activities everything was excellent.

- Thing I like about this college will be the obviously the teachers and faculty. They help the students a lot. The seniors behave really well and welcomes the newcomers. The machineries and the equipments are very well kept
- The library has lots of book which can help you a lot in your academic life.
Dislikes
- The placement of IT and CSE department aren't that great. If you are really good you will get jobs.
Placement Experience:
Government Colleges aren't known for getting 100% placement. The placement rate of IT and CSE students aren't that high and the average package is just about 6-7LPA. Which isn't much. So many students opt for Higher studies. Many prepare for exams in India like GATE and many also prepare for foreign exams like GRE and TOEFL. Many students also keep tracks with off campus interviews. So at the end for placement college doesn't matter much. The skills you acquire are mostly important

- The placement of this collage for TT and APM student is good
- Heritage building of this campus is pretty good
- Senior of this collage is very good,very helpfull

- The campus area is too short only 5 acres
- Class room and basic science lab is not good
- Tis collage has no identity card for students
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester student eligible for campus placement.
For TT and APM student there quite a lot of opportunity for internship and placement .
All student of TT and APM are placed before completation of BTech .

- Faculty's experience is very good, they teaches us very well
- Infrastructure is average, campus is average distance

- Infrastructure is not so good, lab facility is not so good
- Placements in cse and it are not good, be focus on
- This college is very old, so most of the building looking poor
Placement Experience:
Around 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement, many companies like Raymond, aditya birla garments, cognizant, infosys, HCl, tata consultancy services is the most recruiter in our college

- Professors are very good, helpful and down to earth.... They take their classes very well in every department.
- The college campus are very large and placed in a very good position... Bank of the river ganges.

- Placement in it and cse are not so satisfying.
Course Curriculum Overview:
In the present development in India of it sectors are very impressive... So looking the development i choose this department. In our college it deferment is very old department. So,we get very good faculty for the it department.

- The Interaction Between Seniors and Juniors.It's great all of the seniors of my time were very humble and cooperative in Nature.

- College is Situated Beside Ganga river,The natural beauty is mind blowing.
Dislikes
- Hostel facility is not given to 1st,2nd and 3rd years it's only available for 4th years
- Canteen Food is not upto the mark and they are very expensive
- College campus area is not so big, It's about 4 acres

Placements in our college is The main attraction. This why I took admission. 100% students of Textile and APM department get's Intership in companies like Vardhman, Raymond, Trident, Welspun, Doner and many more. almost every student gets placed each year with a average package or 4.8lakh per annum and the highest package in previous year was 14lpa by Trident Group.

- The College location is very good, and the College faculty is expertise, their teaching methods and experience is very good.

Those who attend all the exams and those who attend all the lectures of the professors , they take placement opportunities very well processed. There all the students get placement in TT & APM department.

- Lab is not good need to upgrade. Also need to upgrade classroom from normal to smart classroom
Course Curriculum Overview:
In this college has 4 types of course Computer science and technology, Information technology, Textile technology and APM for Btech and Mtech only for Textile technology. But their course related syllabus very old need to update syllabus.

- Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology Serampore is one of my favourite government college.This college's teacher and all the faculty members are very kind hearted and helpful. In every situation they always supports students.
- This college campus is very student friendly, no ragging or ragging related activities happens , this campus is anti ragging campus which is one of the most needed for every student.
- Library facilities, lab facilities, extra class facilities are also given by the teachers which is very needful for lateral students like me.
Course Curriculum Overview:
There are 4 different types of course present in our college for btech. In today's era mostly things are computer based. So, I choose Information Technology, in this course I can know about very basic subjects, like - biology, Economics and Accountancy, English, and on the other hand I can also know about the main different subjects of computer like- computer networks, DBMS, DAA, Maths, Algorithm, Research Methodology,Etc.
