GCECT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Onwards 7th semester students are eligible for placements. Ceramic Technology department really shines in this factor. Their placements are above a 100% with most of them having a PPO in hand during their internships. CSE/IT students opt for GATE/CAT or try Off-campus opportunities. Though most of them get a good packages somehow. Highest on campus package for Non-core is 8LPA and lowest is 3.5LPA and for Ceramic/Core it is 12LPA and 3LPA respectively. Almost 70% of CSE/IT students gets placed. My plan is to opt for Masters after getting my BTech from here.

From 7th sem, Student are applicable for campus placement.Many company like TCS,I nfosys, Cognizant, Wipro, Nilhunt, Accenture, Byjus, IBM etc. visit in our campus for placement. The highest package is 6LPA. Average package is 3.5LPA-4.5 LPA. Around 80% student get placed.

One who is very interested in maths and logic. He/ she can easily opt for this. This college has its fundamental needs i.e. to understand logic and do innovation. The course is all about this. The students who got admitted to this, have to do most of the things on their own. The ds algo sir, the automata theory sir, and some of the faculties are good.

From the 6th semester, students can get placements, from companies like Amazon, Capgemini, TCS, etc and they offer 6 lpa jobs. Highly they offer 15 lpa jobs on campus and the average is 6 LPA. There are 100% placements. I want to study further and do Mtech.

The highest package in 2022 was 15 lpa on-campus and the average was 6 LPA. There is 100% placement. I am going to be an app developer and build my own apps and do freelancing and startups.

Students undergo Internships after their 6th semester, some bag PPO, and others undergo the placement process during their 7th semester. Companies like Saint Gobain, TRL Krosaki, Calderys, HR Johnson, OCL India, RHI Magnesita, Vedanta, etc. Visit our college and the average pay ranges from 5.5-6 LPA and the highest being 9 LPA. 100% of the students from the Ceramic branch are placed in the core field.

From 3rd year, students are eligible for compass placements. The main companies that visit our colleges are national refractory, trl Kurosaki, saint Gobain glass, sail, etc. The highest package is about 8-9 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Almost all students get placed. I want to do a job after my degree.

Probably from the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. The companies that visit our college are Saint Gobain Vedanta, heat works Aditya Birla insulators, and many more. The highest salary paid was 7.5 lakh per annum And average salary is 4.3 lakh per annum. I should probably opt for MBA after graduation.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. companies for campus placements are TCS, Infosys,Wipro,Cognizant and few others. Very few % of students are getting placed every year. Out of 40 students, only 7 got places in 2021. I dreamt to work as Software Engineer in reputed companies.

The course curriculum is more or less the same as that of WBUT. Few of the faculty members are quite good while some are not up to the mark. In the 1st year, each class had about 60 students while from 2nd year onwards it was 40. So teacher-student ratio was pretty good. Most of the permanent faculty members have completed their Ph.D. from prestigious institutions. The term exams were timely held. Passing was not at all tough. Following the class and having a look at the previous year papers was more than enough to score well.
