The placements are the best thing of this college. We get recruited if we have above 75%. Most of the students get campus placement. Many companies come for making placements. A good alumni networking is also there during the job referrals.

We have infosys, Tata and like 25 companies are visited for campus placement and they are only take the eligible of students based on marks and they ask about the technique, problem that how we solve if we are in that position and they watch our body language, speaking ability in English and our dressing style, hair style etc.

TCS - Software Engineer position,HP - KPO.I don't remember any other MNC's which came to our college except these. Yes, we have separate classes conducted for Analytical reasoning and aptitude. Apart from these, communication is the one which matters most for a person to attend interview. Students are trained with Aptitude & Reasoning and even English but students should speak in English from Day1, then only they can face Interviewers or else college should conduct debates everyweek in every class which will definitely increase ability of student to speak.

The placement offers of our college varies with branches, the number of companies and number of students hired were more for the ECE amd CSE branches. Coming to our branch the hiring percentage is around 10%, there's a pre-placement training program is conducted every year and those who attended this program were only allowed for placement drives. Generally, this college doesn't recommend any companies and doesn't issue certificates, students were on their own in finding companies and they're responsible to get a training certificate from that company.

GEC has some really good recruiting companies coming in. Their website mentions big names like TCS, WIPRO, Infosys. Also their microsite in Collegedunia and all mentions an average placement package of 4 Lakhs/year. which means that the highest package would be more than 8 Lakh. This is nice. Research a little more on it. Coming to internships, Yes I worked as intern and yes my college will provide intership to students.

I have chosen this course because it will have a scope to get job opportunities in both software and hardware field. It is an evergreen stream for upcoming technologies like the internet of things (IoT), AI, etc. I always suggest our college to include more time for research and innovation in the course curriculum, i.e, it should provide more practical knowledge rather than theoretical. Good infrastructure and a good campus placements. Maximum of students get campus recruited in the college. There are aslo facilitates like sports, gym, canteen and bus. The course curriculum was also good.
