HICET Coimbatore B.Tech Information Technology: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. Admission to HICET’s B.Tech Information Technology is through TNEA counselling conducted by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions authority. Merit rank is based on normalised Class 12 PCM scores. Students register at tneaonline.org and participate in choice filling rounds to secure a seat. Management quota seats are filled directly by the college based on Class 12 marks and an application to HICET.

Ans. The total programme fee for B.Tech IT at HICET is INR 10,28,000 for the full 4-year course under the general quota. Government quota students pay a total of INR 6,60,000, while management quota applicants pay INR 3,48,000 for the programme. Hostel fees of up to INR 35,000 per year are charged separately for students who need on-campus accommodation.

Ans. B.Tech IT at HICET focuses on networking, cloud infrastructure, database management, and system administration, preparing students for IT services and operations roles.
