Ans. CIT Coimbatore, at 58.00 LPA from D.E. Shaw India for its 2024-25 batch. It is the only college in the city that publishes a highest package tied to the same cohort as its median, which is why the other rows here show a dash rather than an institution-wide marketing figure.
Ques. Can students pursue an MBA without CAT or engineering without JEE in Coimbatore?
Ans. Yes for both, and it is the norm. TANCET is the main MBA route and TNEA the main engineering route, and TNEA ranks candidates on the class 12 cut-off mark rather than an entrance test. AVV Coimbatore is the exception, conducting ACAT for MBA and AEEE for BTech alongside JEE Main.
Ques. How many colleges does Coimbatore have in these four streams?
Ans. Collegedunia lists 112 MBA/PGDM colleges, 72 BTech colleges, 5 law colleges and 6 MBBS colleges in Coimbatore. These are separate course filters, so an institution offering several of these courses is counted in more than one of them.
Download Option: Students can access individual college brochures and admission documents from the linked college profiles above or from the Top Colleges in Coimbatore page.
