Overall hostel is fine except some problems that we face sometimes. Hostel rooms intially seem too be small but it's fine for 4 students. The cleanliness of our rooms were our responsibility. Mess food is not good as compares too home cooked food but it's food than other messes. We got breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Hostel facilty is easy to avail.
I have not opted for hostel as i am a day scholar .still I can tell u about a hostel .basically boys hostels have rooms to be share among 4 boys but they have only 3 shelves .this is a major problem but after 1st yr the hostels are fyn
Yes. The hostels are up to the mark of what you can expect from a govetment college. The rooms are three-seaters for 1st year to 3rd year and in final year separate rooms are alloted to the students. There are enough rooms for the stiludents but some students live in PG as per their choices and the PGs are available near the college.
Yes. The seats in the hostel are limited hence one should ensure to get good marks to get a seat in the hostel. In first year a room is shared by four students. In second year it becomes three and third year it becomes two. The pg's around here are expensive and will require atleast 3000-4000 rupees monthly rent.
It was good and u just have to pay 10000 for hostel and total of 34000 as mess fees for whole year and the leftover money is returned back hostels are good and infrastructure is also good.
The hostel infrastructure is different for different year students. 1st year students have the best hostel facility with best infrastructure and fooding. 2nd year hostel was the worst in the campus with worst fooding. In 3rd year the hostel is alloted on the basis of the student's academic score. For 3rd year and final year students, there are 5 hostels (named as A block, B block, C block, D block and E block starting from best to worst respectively), Sometimes the students with low academic scores in 2nd year did not get hostel and should opt for PG. The PG available in nearby area are available at a monthly rental of around 1500-2500 rupees.
Yes i have taken hostel. The Institute has hostel facilities for boys and girls separately. There are six boys' and two girls' hostels along with 24-hour backup power supply. They accommodate around 1500 undergraduate and postgraduate students. Committees consisting of elected student representatives manage them. All the hostels are located on the campus. The hostel rooms are spacious and well-furnished. Each hostel has its own mess. The hostel mess is operated by elected student representative. Spacious and modern kitchens with steam cooking cater to healthy and nutritious food. Strict hygienic conditions are maintained.
First year hostel is great with good food and good infrastructure. Second year hostel nether has good food nor good infrastructure. Third and final year hostels are the best, they have great food, freedom and privacy and you are allowed to go out at night till 2-3 am.
Yes, I have opted the hostel. Hostel facilities are quite good. There are 8 hostels for male students. Rooms are quite spaceous, water supply is good. RO water is available for 24*7 for drinking. Each hostel has a mess to provide food.
Hostels are good and facilities are average. There are 8 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel. Each hostel has its seperate mess. In first year rooms are alloted on first come first serve basis but thereafter rooms are alloted on the basis of marks. Rooms are 4 seater in first and second year, 2 seater in 3rd year and single rooms are given in final year.
