JEC B.Tech Admission 2026

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognised board with a minimum 45 percent aggregate (40 percent for BC/MBC/SC/ST candidates from Tamil Nadu).
Admission is through TNEA merit-based counselling. No separate entrance exam is required for government quota seats.
Candidates from outside Tamil Nadu may apply under management quota directly to JEC at admission@jec.ac.in.

Admission Process

Register on the TNEA portal (tneaonline.org) and upload 10+2 marksheets and community certificate before the deadline.
TNEA rank is computed from 10+2 aggregate marks. A higher percentage improves chances at preferred JEC branches.
