MIT Mysore Admission 2027 is open for BE, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and Ph.D. MIT Mysore is Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore at Belawadi, in Srirangapatna Taluk near Mysuru. It started in 2007, is run by the Maharaja Education Trust, and is an autonomous college under VTU. MIT Mysore does not hold its own entrance test. BE seats are filled through KCET and KEA counselling, through COMEDK UGET and COMEDK counselling, or through the management quota. M.Tech, MBA and MCA seats are filled mainly through Karnataka PGCET and KEA counselling. AICTE has approved 990 BE seats and 312 PG seats for 2026 to 27. KCET 2027 registration should open on 17 Jan 2027 (tentative, based on last year).
MIT Mysore BE Admission 2027
MIT Mysore offers BE in eleven branches, plus Mechanical Engineering taught in Kannada. Computer Science and Engineering is the largest, with 180 seats. Civil, Electronics and Communication, and Information Science have 120 seats each. Six computer branches and Mechanical Engineering have 60 seats each. The Kannada medium Mechanical course has 30 seats. Your rank and the order of your options decide the branch you get.
MIT Mysore BE Eligibility 2027
You need to pass Class 12 or 2nd PUC with English as one of your languages. You need Physics and Maths, plus one of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Electronics or Computer Science. You need 45% in total in these subjects. If you are from SC, ST or Categories 1, 2A, 2B, 3A or 3B, you need 40%. You also need a KCET or COMEDK UGET rank, or a seat through the management quota.

MIT Mysore BE Fees at Admission 2027
Your first year fee depends on how you got the seat. For 2026 to 27, KEA set the KCET seat fee in private colleges at INR 1,20,320 or INR 1,30,320 a year, by college type. COMEDK capped the yearly tuition at INR 2.15 Lakhs or INR 3.02 Lakhs, plus up to INR 20,000 in other fees. MIT Mysore has not printed its own BE fee list, so check your seat order before you pay.

The two year MBA at MIT Mysore has 120 seats for 2026 to 27, down from 180 last year. The MBA department started in 2009 and became autonomous in 2023 to 24, so it sets its own syllabus. Most students join through Karnataka PGCET and KEA counselling. For a management seat, the college also takes a KMAT or CMAT score.
