PES College of Engineering, located in Mandya was established in 1962. It is affiliated to Visvesvarya Technological University, Belagaviand is recognized by AICTE. The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral level programs in various specializations. Admission is based on the merit scored by the candidates on the entrance test followed by counseling.

- For B.E. admission, candidates have to qualify Karnataka CET followed by counseling. Candidates outside Karnataka can apply for admission through COMED-K. Seats are also available for admission through management quota
- For M.Tech admission, candidates with valid GATE score can apply. Candidates can also apply through KPGCET conducted by KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority). In some disciplines, management quota seats are also available.
- For MBA and MCA admission, the selection is done on the basis of Karnataka PGCET score
- For Ph.D. and M.Sc. admission, the selection is done on the basis of merit scored by the candidates in the last qualifying examination. Candidates need to apply through the admission process of the institute.
