- Placement in rvce is very good for all circuit branches above 100000lpa easily but for core branches average is decent but good opportunities is provided for higher study and internships.
- Majority of teachers are done phd in the respective degree and also they have great experience in the core field and provide deep insights and knowledge of the core content and they help student in other aspects.
- The faculty were good in explaining things to the new students .
Dislikes
- There are not much scholarship opportunities or financial assistance provided by the institution.
- The management here is really bad, they cant plan things accordingly
- The wifi facility is not good inside hostel, it's not available at all

Placements are as you expect from this college theyre really good there has been many top companies that visit this collefe such as oracle microsoft amazon wtc highest package was 52 lpa from cse stream usually over 80% of the students gets placed

- There are many technical clubs for each niche area, the main famous one's are like Ashwa the racing club, Antariksh the space club, Ncc, Nss, Rotaract and many coding and robotic cubs.
- As this is a top college of Karnataka placement opportunities are very good more than 200 companies come for placement and cs and is have highesr packages of 60 lacs and ec also has max placement of 50 lac and an avg of 15 lac.
Dislikes
- Due to construction of new building there is lot of dust and campus is bitin chaos.
- As Rv university is coming up in the same campus playing grounds and indoor grounds are not there at present but are coming up
Placement Experience:
Placements are very good here a number of good companies as I think more than 200 companies visit each year. Mainly Cs, Is and EC people have a very high placement level but other branches like mech, civil and others also getcore companies for their placements. As I am from ec many good companies like Phips, Nvidea, Anoog Devices, and Texas Instruments. Come for the placements and have an average placement of 15 lac.

- The teaching and non teaching staff were good and placement is awesome
- Good play ground and near to metro station
- Echo friendly campus and there is zero ragging
Dislikes
- The collage infrastructure is bad and still developing
- There is no nearest shops for students and it’s hard to student to go out
- The collage has very strict ciriculum it’s and always have classes
Course Curriculum Overview:
The choosing the course in the univercity should have very high knowledge about the course
Collage will conduct exam once in the month
The collage have very busy schedule and student have holidays on Saturday and Sunday

- You will meet lots of different people in Hostel with different personalities. You will enjoy hostel life
- Different Student clubs helps people with similar interest to pursue their interest.
- As the capacity of a class is less, Teachers can focus more on a individual student.
Dislikes
- As the campus is very small, it feels too crowded for introverts
- Unrealistic expectations from Dean academics as well as some teachers
Course Curriculum Overview:
In Information Science Department, courses are added and removed based on the scheme and a particular teacher will handle it. Usually the courses are up to date including the latest technologies like NLP, AIML , Information Retreival etc. We also have electives (global as well as local)to help pursue our interests.

- The college is in the outskirts of Bengaluru and thus is peaceful. If you want to commute, then Pattanagere metro is alongside college. So travelling, there is no problem. the campus is green. At weekdays, you would find solace.
- I live in Cauvery hostel which is an inside campus. So I can go to classes on time without having to bear the pain of waking up early. In hostel I have made friends from different departments. Being boys we waste quality time together.
- We have a library which has vast collections of books, volumes, journals, publications, But very few number of students study rigorously.
Dislikes
- The college campus though adequate to accommodate the students of all branches and years, is not as big as prominent NITs, leave IITs. It is a small 15 acre camous with four hostels- Cauvery, Krishna, Chamundi, and DJ.
- We have to be inside the hostel by 10 pm, you'll have to sleep outside.
- There is no ragging. I know you all will be thinking that I am a prejudiced person. But in an engineering college there should be some minimal ragging which brings discipline in the juniors. IITs have very good tradition of ragging.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am doing BE Computer Science and Engineering. I have a passion for physics. This course gives me essential skills in computer science to pursue my passion in research in physics. The course allows you to be in touch with and learn new technological advancements that are taking place in the field of Computer Science.
But after coming to college what I have felt is curriculum is marks oriented not learning oriented. So course can be improved by incresing hands-on.
We have three internals and three quizzes for eight subjects spaced between the intervals of 1-2 months. We being engineers study a night before. The exams are not that difficult. I feel that exams are taking out all the pleasure out of college life.

- Placements in this college is excellent.
- There's lot of research opportunities and many project works which the interested student can take up
- Faculties are very friendly and we students can approach them for any sort of help be it academically or moral support.
Dislikes
- Campus area is a bit limited due to construction works going on now.
Placement Experience:
Placements are the main reason why this college is number one among other colleges in Bangalore. The highest package this year from our department was 92LPA. The average package is around 17 LPA this year.

- Academic structure is excellent. They train you with updated and latest skills. Industry needs and emerging cources are also tought.
- You will get chance to select two subjects as electives so that you can enjoy learning the things which do not relate to your branch.
- You will get exposure to various clubs and get lot of opportunities for your future endeavors. Clubs in RVCE are excellent and you will get good experience there
Dislikes
- All the lectures are not good at teaching.
- Infrastructure is not soo good but tolerable.
- They will try to suck your in all the ways. ( like they conduct skill lab sessions for about a week, for that they charge extra 20 thousand rupees.)
Placement Experience:
From 6th sem you can sit for placement.
About 100+ companies visit and 200+ offers are made. More info you get in official website. You can trust official website. Don't worry about placement in RVCE. You work hard and you will get good placement. My plan right now is to go for masters in IISc. Almost all students are placed unless they opt for higher studies.

- Some faculties are really supportive , you can get every type of people here , hostel food also not that bad
- College provides opportunities to join NCC and sports
- Major focus on Experiential learning, 25% of the marks will be decided by project

- Campus is not good , it is below average
Placement Experience:
Placements are really good for some branches which comes under cs stream , last year highest package was 92LPA grabbed by ise student , this year also many got job offer in NVIDIA arround 40 LPA , average salary in cs is arround 20lakh and ise is arround 18lakh

- College pays a lot of focus on academics and placement opportunities are great in the college.
- The new schemes which the college has introduced recently are truly at par with the new education policy
- The college is small which can be a negative also but to be honest you can access all departments very easily.
Dislikes
- First of all there is no sports facilities whatsoever. College just wants you to rote learn n write test
- No focus on overall development of the student, teachers just come n want you to learn by heart everything for cgpa rather than telling them to explore new new things
- College is just pathetic in its infrastructure, stress is more on rvu rather than rvce.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum with the new scheme, which they have introduced is quite good and tries to help the students to gain more practical exposure, no doubt about it but again, the issue is with the faculty teaching it. The frequency of exams is once every month.

3rd year..
Companies like NVIDIA, British Telecom, Signalchip, Analog devices, Intel, Airbus, Qualcomm, Oracle, Cadence, Sorocco.
Many will get into the company at which they interned.. People get paid well if they have skills
