- Engineers’ day- The college celebrates Engineers’ day annually on 15th September
- Technical Paper Contest- A National Level Technical Paper Contest, "SVITS QUEST - 2008" was celebrated in the college
- N.S.S- N.S.S of the college organizes various activities including a Health Check up Medical Camp and a voluntary Blood Donation Camp with the assistance of SVS Hospital & Red Cross Society
- Cultural & Literary Activities- Various cultural and literary activities are conducted in the campus
- Workshops- SVITS organizes numerous workshops such as a Two-Day work shop on “Recent Advances on Information Security” and on "Prospective areas of research in Mechanical Engineering and related approaches"
