Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust started it in 2001. It is an autonomous college affiliated to VTU, and it does not hold its own entrance test. BE seats are filled through KCET and KEA counselling, through COMEDK UGET and COMEDK counselling, or through the management quota. M.Tech, MBA and MCA seats are filled through Karnataka PGCET and KEA counselling, or through the management quota. KCET 2027 registration should open on 17 Jan 2027 (tentative, based on last year).

SJBIT offers BE in eight branches, with 1,020 seats for 2026 to 27. Computer Science and Engineering is the largest, with 360 seats, up from 240 last year. Information Science and Electronics and Communication have 180 seats each. Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, Electrical, Mechanical and Civil have 60 seats each. Your rank and the order of your options decide the branch you get.
SJBIT Bangalore BE Eligibility 2027
You need to pass Class 12 with Physics and Maths. Your third subject can be Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science, Biology or Electronics. You need 45% in these three subjects, with English as one of your languages. SC, ST and OBC students from Karnataka need 40% for a KCET seat.
