Ques. What is the difference between M.Tech CADS and Structural Engineering at SJBIT?
Ans. M.Tech CADS focuses on finite element analysis, structural optimisation, BIM, computer-aided structural modelling, and earthquake engineering, geared toward software-driven design roles. M.Tech Structural Engineering covers advanced structural analysis, earthquake-resistant design, prestressed concrete, steel structures, and structural health monitoring, more suited to site and construction-side structural roles. Both are two-year VTU-affiliated programmes with the same total fee of INR 1,39,000.
Ques. How does the AICTE PG scholarship work for M.Tech at SJBIT?
Ans. GATE-qualified candidates admitted to M.Tech at SJBIT are eligible for the AICTE PG scholarship of INR 12,400 per month, paid for the full two-year programme. Ques. Can non-GATE candidates get M.Tech admission at SJBIT through K. PGCET?
