Fees -

The fees stucture is affordable but they play bad tactics like for every single thing extra they charge 500 for example for mr forms or revaluation forms They charge 500 for each this is wat I don't like abt this college

Course Curriculum -

The course is very good u get options but they even require marks n on the basis of ur marks u get to choose based subjects m not really happy with this process as ye scope for good percentage is reduced due to not getting subjects of our choice

A life-changing experience!

Fees -

Thanks to being a government-run institution, there are several aids available to the college and hence the fees are really low. The fees for junior college at my time were approximately Rs. 700 a year. The fees for degree college ranged from Rs. 4000 per year to Rs. 10000 per year depending upon electives chosen by the student. There are several scholarships available, concession to girls and backward classes which make the fees absolutely no worry for any student coming from any economic strata of society.

Course Curriculum -

The course for the junior college was pretty uniform with all other colleges since it was a state prescribed curriculum. However, the examinations conducted by Podar college were of an above-average level of difficulty and tested conceptual clarity in much detail compared to other state-run institutions. That helped us be well prepared for the final examinations and as a result, all of us were able to score well. The degree college followed the curriculum prescribed by University of Mumbai. There were no electives in the first year. The second year allowed students to choose between Journalism, Advertising, Mass Communication and Company Secretarial Practice as their sixth subject (electi...

Bachelor in Management Studies as a course is brilliant. It basically makes a person a Jack of all trades as it covers all the aspects of the commerce industry. It is different from other courses like BAF or BMM as these courses focus only on one aspect ie. Accounts and finance and advertising and journalism respectively. If anyone is planning to pursue MBA,post graduation should definitely opt for BMS as it covers almost 75% of MBA syllabus.
