Once a Podarite always a podarite

Fees -

The fee structure is feasible. It is around 7000 p.a. it includes tution fees,ID charges, exam fees etc. College accepts fees through RTGS or NEFT. No additional fees are charged by the college for any other things. Except incase student wants to access the library books he/she has to pay nominal library fees around 200 rs.

Course Curriculum -

Since i wanted to pursue CA Bcom was a good course to be pursued along. Since there are common subjects also common topics. There are various hobby groups, trekking groups, fests like Moneta and Rapport. It helps you develop your leadership skills and management skills. Bcom is a 3 year course program. With 2 semesters each in each year. There are around 7 subjects in Bcom like Accounts, Economics, advertising, taxation, EVS,Maths, Foundation course.

All about Podar

Fees -

There is one time payment which you have to pay during the start of the year. It's a comprehensive fees which covers all the aspects and it's very reasonable. There are different categories of fees depending upon the class you belong to. For open category the fees are somewhat around 6000

The Best College of Commerce

Fees -

The fee structure is different for Open and cast students. The open people are paying much higher fees like around 5000-8000 and cast people are paying likely around 500 and that's what the big deal what I feel. The fess should be same for all students. If there is genuine problem then only they should allow this concession.

Course Curriculum -
9 /10

The curriculum was good. Year by Year they are introducing you the new subjects. No industrial visit organized though. The courses are various like BMM, BMS, Bcom. Every courses is having different structure and subjects and as progress the subjects are more and new.

A life-changing experience!

Fees -

Thanks to being a government-run institution, there are several aids available to the college and hence the fees are really low. The fees for junior college at my time were approximately Rs. 700 a year. The fees for degree college ranged from Rs. 4000 per year to Rs. 10000 per year depending upon electives chosen by the student. There are several scholarships available, concession to girls and backward classes which make the fees absolutely no worry for any student coming from any economic strata of society.

Course Curriculum -
10 /10

The course for the junior college was pretty uniform with all other colleges since it was a state prescribed curriculum. However, the examinations conducted by Podar college were of an above-average level of difficulty and tested conceptual clarity in much detail compared to other state-run institutions. That helped us be well prepared for the final examinations and as a result, all of us were able to score well. The degree college followed the curriculum prescribed by University of Mumbai. There were no electives in the first year. The second year allowed students to choose between Journalism, Advertising, Mass Communication and Company Secretarial Practice as their sixth subject (electi...
