They gave me a form, telling me to fill out all the criteria and choose my subject the way I wanted it. I filled out the form and gave it to the office head clerk. He then checked my form and gave me permission and told me to go to the cashier to pay the prescribed amount. There is a shortage of money. So I'm happy to do this.

For the BA political science course, admission is strictly based on merit through the marks obtained in class 12th examinations. Similar criteria is for all other undergraduate courses as well like history/economics.

Calcutta Girls' College was established in 1963 and is a women's undergraduate college in Kolkata, West Bengal, It is affiliated with the University of Calcutta. The College provided an opportunity for the working girls to acquire higher education. The Socio-economic condition then necessitated the hours to be in the evening for the aspirant working women and hence the college was unique in its purpose.
