1st I gave the entrance exam after I got selected for an interview and I cracked the interview and I got select in IMS. Generally, entrance exam is held on in August and the interview is in the month of September, I have chosen this institute because I want to become a marine engineer, and this college is very good.

"Best College for Maritime studies"

Admission :

My aim was to become Captain of ship. As I have heard from my friend about this college for its excellence as he was senior. For addmission You need to do a PCM that is physics chemistry maths at aggregate of 60% and to have 50% in English in class 12. Then you have to give entrance test for college after that you can appear for IMUCET exam then you have to give interview for the college.

Remarks :

Good one ragging is prohibited and also had good infrastructure and had hill view from college.

After 10+2 I got 90% marks which were enough for me to get an admission in Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies(SIMS). Also my seniors have studies here in the past and today they hold a good position in this field. I applied online for the course on the web portal of the college and after a week recieved a letter and submitted all the documents required to get admission.

Remarks :

Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies has really taught all the pros and cons of being a marine engineer. With a ship present in the campus the practical work is encouraged. Faculty members are really helpful in the same and really initiate interactions. Ambience adds up to its good points.

"Suits the college as it is based on Maritime courses."

Admission :

First i went to college and they advised me to write IMU EXAM first then i Appeared for IMU CET exam and cleared. Went for entrance exam to college and after that they conducted an interview and I got selected.

Remarks :

Positive comments: the above mentioned all comments are positive and the college has a very good ambience for studies and swimming pool and many more facilities are provided. Negative is few people feel it to be a bit costly but it is not for what they provide.
