Which Executive MBA specialisation should you pick at FMS Delhi?

Specialisation
Executive MBA
200 seats plus 30 extra. Any degree, 45%. Merit list, extempore and two discussions.
Pick it if:
You want an MBA while you keep your job: classes are on weekday evenings on North Campus, so the whole batch keeps working through both years.
You have five years as an executive in any field: any graduate with 45% in graduation can apply, and no CAT score is asked for.
You want a low fee: the full two years cost less than one year at most executive MBAs in the city.
Skip it if:
You live outside Delhi NCR: the course takes only Delhi NCR residents, and attendance at the evening classes is compulsory.
You want a campus placement: FMS holds no placement for this course, because every student already has a job.
You find it hard to speak on the spot: the extempore and the business affairs discussion carry 25 of the 85 selection marks.
Executive MBA in Health Care Administration
50 seats plus 8 extra. Medical degree, 45%. The same rounds plus an interview.
Pick it if:
You want to manage a hospital or a health care firm: this course teaches management for health care, and every classmate comes from health care work.
You hold an MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS or BHMS with 45%: these degrees qualify you directly, while a listed master's degree needs 55%.
You want a smaller batch: this course takes 50 seats, against 200 in the Executive MBA.
Skip it if:
Your five years of work are outside health care: only executive work in health care counts here, while the Executive MBA takes any field.
You do not want an interview: this course adds a personal interview worth 15 marks to the selection rounds.
Counsellor's advice
If you hold a medical degree and your five years of work are in health care, apply for Health Care Administration, where only health care staff compete. If your work is in any other field, the Executive MBA is your course here.

MDI costs INR 16.10 Lakhs more for its executive programme. If your employer will not pay that, FMS Delhi gives you an MBA from a higher ranked faculty for far less.
In short
IIFT asks for the same 5 years of work and a little higher marks, and costs INR 3.17 Lakhs more. If you want international business, look at IIFT; for general management, FMS Delhi costs less.
In short
DTU costs INR 3.79 Lakhs more and ranks far lower in management. If you get an FMS Delhi seat, take it over DTU.
In short
GGSIPU charges about the same fee but ranks far lower. If FMS Delhi shortlists you, take FMS Delhi; keep GGSIPU as a second option.
