Fees structure revise every year. The present structure can be accessed on the official IIFM website. The fee structure includes tuition fees, hostel fees, field trip component. Mess fees is not collected by the Administration but the mess committee. The mode of payment is both online and offline. College provides absolute transparency in fee break down and an official document in this regard can be accessed at any point during the curriculum.
The college offers near to 100% of placement. It has both sector related and other core MBA subjects. The curriculum has many on field assignments and field trips that require interaction with communities and tribe. The curriculum comprises of two field trips where students are required to stay with local communities to learn about their culture and understand their role in Environment conservation also get knowledge about the developmental and livelihood activities undertaken by them
The fee structure is nominal at 6,24,000 for 2 years at a national level Management institute and fooding expenses for 3 times meal a day at 2500 a month. Return on Investment is good, since average placement package and median placement package stands at 7,50,000.
The pedagogy of the course is so well designed to accomodate a management student from basics of management to learning techniques and methodologies much needed in real life crisis situations too. A trimester system is followed per year, so 6 semesters for 2 years course. End term,Mid term, regular quizzes/class tests, assignment submissions sum up your total score.
The fee has been increasing for the past 2 years. The 2019-21 batch paid around 6.25 lacs (general) and 3.75 lacs (SC/ST). Mess charges are separate and not included in this. This sum covers tuition fees, hostel fees, teaching material and library charges, medical purpose etc.
The curriculum is intense indeed; Apart from niche subjects, general or core management subjects are also taught. The academic year 2020 will see a change in the curriculum through- no. of periods in a day will be reduced, some papers/ courses/ subjects will be eliminated and replaced by industry-centric subjects.
The total fee for the PGDFM is 6.24 lakhs including the Hostel fee. The mess fees is around 50000 for 10 months. The first installment for PGDFM 19-21 was Rs374400. The revised fees will be updated soon. Since, it is a residential course so there is no need of commutation expenses to be incurred.
The course curriculum is divided into 6 trimesters with 2 field exercise in each year and 1 summer internship of 2 months duration. This course believes in experiential learning whereby we are exposed to field visits to different sectors inorder to get the broad idea of how industries work, how NGOs work and to study the current government policies and schemes. This course is very well designed that give you ample opportunities to apply the theoritical concepts learned in class in real life.
Feasible. It is around 6 lacs for the two years now. It is less when compared to other b schools of the same category. Keeping in mind the placements and the facilities that are provided by the college, fees is low
It's is really good. It is very diverse. So In short one gets the knowledge of various field in this one course which also helps during the placements and also whenever the student want to switch to some other related sector in future
It is feasible and value for money. At my time the 2 years education cost was 4.8 lacs. Now it is around 6.5 lacs. Eduaction is subsidized and much affordable as compared to other colleges. Also the experience that you will get from the two years of staying at IIFM is invaluable. The field trips, fooding lodging and other charges are all inclusive in the fees.
The course curriculum is well designed. It covers various aspects of general mba like HR, Finance, Marketing and also provides domain knowledge on Conservation, Environment, Developmemt, Forestry. It is a great blend of courses. It is unique and one of its kind in Asia.
The breakup of the fee is as follows: Tuition Fee 349000 Computer and Internet fee 25000 Teaching Material and Library charges 50000 In addition to this, there is 200000 worth of amenities fees and 15000 for cation money. The mess fee is 2500/month. The total fee from 2019 will be 624000. The first year fee will be 374400 and the second-year fee will be 249600.
The course curriculum is similar to any other MBA and in addition to this, there are forestry subjects in the first 3 terms. After the 3rd term, we have an internship. During the 5th and 6th terms, there are three specializations; Development Management, Conservation & Livelihood and Environment Management where students specialize in their area of interest. As for exams, there are midterms and end terms in addition to regular quizzes and assignments which have their own weight in the total score. As for relevancy, the course has been designed in a way such that it stays relevant to the industry requirements. The faculty regularly update their course as per new trends. This keeps the students ready for the industry.
Total fee is about 4 Lakh rupees for 2 years. Fees is to be paid in two installments, first of which is 2.57 lakhs upon joining and the remaining is on the start of second year.Mess fee is not included in the fee structure and needs to be paid for every 3 months.
The pedagogy and curriculum is in sync with the spirit of the course. Along with regular management subjects, we have various other subjects related to forestry, environment and society.
The fees was quite quite feasible, I mean including everything our Course fee was 3.5 lakhs, inclusive of hostel fees. The mess is unlike most places, student Runnned.I mean we have a mess committee where students get elected, and we decided the weekly menu.and we also supervised the Mess account.
The first three semesters were same as is taught in any B school but we were mostly taught by elite IFS professors, and a few foreign return professors.the course curriculum was Simply put.BRILLIANT.For specialization we had to choose from three options:- Development Management(which I took for I feel for the cause, Enviromental Management(Possibly the most sought after option because of the jobs you get to bag) and Conservation and Livelihood which is a mix of the previous two and the jobs are also pretty good)
Yes, it was 3 lac now I think it has increased to Rs 4 lac. It should not be an issue because MBA programs these days starts with 10 lac. and the best is IIFM has good RoI.
First year it is general management with some courses on forest management. From second year, three speacializations are offered 1. Forest management; 2 Environment management; 3 NGO or rural management.
