JSPM NTC Admission Dates 2026

Admissions for the 2026-27 academic session have concluded across all programmes. MHT-CET 2026 and MAH-CET 2026 governed the main entry, with CAP counselling completing in September 2026. The table below shows the concluded 2026 cycle milestones.

The next admission cycle (2027-28) is expected to begin with MHT-CET 2027 and MAH-CET 2027 registration in early 2027. The table below gives tentative milestones for the 2027 cycle.

JSPM NTC accepts different entrance exams for different programme families. The table below lists the entrance tests valid for each programme.

JSPM NTC Courses and Fees

JSPM NTC offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes across engineering, management, and computer applications. The BE programme spans six specialisations, with total fees of INR 4.70 Lakhs for the four-year duration across all streams.

The BE programme in Computer Engineering and AI and Data Science are among the most subscribed. The VLSI Design and Technology specialisation targets students seeking careers in semiconductor and chip design. ME in Embedded System and VLSI Design is suited for engineering graduates aiming for research or core electronics roles.

JSPM NTC Admission Process

Admissions to all JSPM NTC programmes follow the Maharashtra state centralised admission process, managed by DTE Maharashtra for engineering and the Competent Authority for MBA and MCA. The college does not conduct its own entrance test.

BE Admission Process

Eligibility for BE admission requires 10+2 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for reserved categories). Admission is based on merit in MHT-CET PCM or JEE Main.

MHT-CET closing percentile for Computer Engineering at JSPM NTC in the 2025 cycle stood at 92.5 percentile for the General Category. AI and Data Science closed at 90.29 percentile and Electronics and Telecom at 83.56 percentile.

MBA Admission Process

Eligibility for MBA requires any bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories). Valid entrance test scores from MAH-CET, CAT, XAT, CMAT, or ATMA are accepted.

MCA and ME Admission

MCA admission requires a bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as a subject and a minimum of 50% aggregate, along with a valid MAH-MCA-CET score. ME admission is based on GATE score or MAH-ME/MTech CET, with a minimum of 50% in BE / B.Tech in the relevant discipline.

JSPM NTC Placements

JSPM NTC placement season runs from October through April each year. The placement cell co-ordinates on-campus drives for BE, MBA, and MCA final-year students. The highest offer recorded stands at INR 12 LPA, while the average package is INR 4.2 LPA. 70 percent of students who register with the placement cell secure offers through on-campus drives.

IT and software services companies account for the largest share of offers, with Computer Engineering and AI and Data Science students drawing the most recruiters. Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering students primarily find opportunities through core manufacturing and infrastructure firms, though on-campus recruitment in these branches is more limited and students often pursue off-campus placements as well.

Key recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Persistent Systems, Zensar Technologies, Fiserv, Cybage Software, Syntel, Bosch, Bharat Forge, and TATA Motors, among others.

JSPM NTC Rankings

JSPM NTC participates in the NIRF ranking exercise under the Engineering category. As per NIRF 2024, the college is placed in the 201 to 250 band in Engineering, reflecting its standing among mid-tier private engineering institutions in Maharashtra.

JSPM NTC Scholarships

JSPM NTC students are eligible to apply for state and central government scholarship schemes. The college facilitates scholarship registration and documentation through its Student Welfare Cell.

Aspirants shortlisting private SPPU-affiliated engineering colleges in Pune commonly weigh JSPM NTC against Sinhgad College of Engineering (Vadgaon Bk) and Indira College of Engineering and Management (Parandwadi). All three are AICTE-approved and admit students through the DTE Maharashtra CAP process based on MHT-CET scores.

JSPM NTC suits aspirants who prefer a newer autonomous institution with updated industry-aligned syllabi and a campus in the Narhe growth corridor. Sinhgad COE has a longer track record spanning three decades and a wider alumni base across Pune’s engineering sector. Indira COE, located on the Pune-Mumbai bypass, draws students from the western and northern Pune catchment. All three serve broadly the same applicant pool.
