Eligibility Criteria

Any recognised bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level or at the undergraduate level, with a minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% for reserved categories under Tamil Nadu norms).

BCA, B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Information Technology, and B.Tech holders are directly eligible. Graduates from other streams must have studied Mathematics at Plus Two or undergraduate level to meet the TANCET MCA eligibility condition.

A valid TANCET score in the MCA category is required for government quota admission through CEAP counselling conducted by Anna University.

Admission Process

After the TANCET result, register on the CEAP MCA counselling portal and fill college and course preferences in order of priority.

CEAP publishes a provisional allotment based on TANCET MCA rank and category, and candidates confirm the seat by paying the required fee online.

Report to MAMCET on the specified date with original certificates for document verification and final admission completion.
