- The food is dirt cheap and quite tasty. The badminton court and ground facilities are very good. The social life at hansraj is something else and very lovable
- The crowd at hansraj is from various diverse fields which makes it all the more diverse in thinking and mindset which enhances the beauty of hansraj
- The teaching faculty at hansraj is something to be appreciated. The teachers are very talented and quite experienced. Some of them even have an experience of more than 30 years!! The methods are quite traditonal and effective
Dislikes
- The washrooms of hansraj are very bad and smelly. The washrooms are something which are necessary therefore they must be at least clean and workable condition.
- The main auditorium is not available for children and is not allowed for any event. It is quite a drag as the main auditorium is something which holds the essence of college
- The principal of the college is quite orthodox in thinking. She dosent invite any modern singers or hold any concerts as she dosent support the western culture
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose BCom hons as I wanted to have a little extra time for exploring various other professional courses such as ca and wanted to start preparing for mba after a while. Plus BCom was the main course related to commerce which I love. Faculty is quite experienced and diverse. Faculty :student ratio is also quite apt according to me . For each subject we have different teachers so it is quite convenient. Our accounts teacher is an ISB MBA PASSOUT whereas one teacher is Delhi school of economics passout so you get the gist of the experience of the teachers. Exams have not yet been started however the practicals which happened were quite smooth in procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is bad, nothing special about it. The student ratio is decent. Teaching method is like school only despite the staff being qualified. The exams were decently timed and were moderate to pass

- We have a number of societies for overall development
- We have a number of courses offered in different fields
Dislikes
- Bad infrastructure compared to private colleges
- Average teachers and faculty.Self study is the only way to clear exams.
- No fests or events occuer at hansraj which makes it boring.

From 5 semester students start grtting placed
Around 100 companies visited and gave more than 500 offers
Highest package was 36lpa
Average package was 8lpa

- I have liked the different events that occurs in hansraj college on daily basis and the food at canteen is very good at cheaper prices, I have visited many College but prices remaines higher then hansraj college it would be the best part
- The infrastructure of hansraj college is amazing and the classroom are big enough to contains 100 of students sinors at my college are very helpful and supportive
- At the end I would I am very greatful to get this college it's almost dream come true moment for me
Dislikes
- There is no such big blunder at HANSRAJ COLLEGE but there is one disline about hansraj that canteen remained closed for almost 3 months and no senior at teacher has made any attempt to reopen the canteen it was very blunder creating situation for sen
Placement Experience:
The placement record of hansraj college is pretty much good because of the average package of approx 8 lpa which is good after srcc only Hindi and hansraj provides the best placement.
In previous year approx 550+ recruiters have visited hansraj college and 75% of students got placed
Students are eligible for the placement who are in 6th semester of college

- The college life is not as what I expected but it is decent according to me.
- The diversity of students is also one thing that I would appreciate my college for.
- The amount of things happening around you are numerous if you are here for fun only.
Dislikes
- The faculty is not interested in teaching you that's the harsh truth.
- You will make friends here but not like the school ones.
- Money plays a very important role here in every aspect.
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements in their VI semester. Last year all the famous companies including Big4 visited our campus and made around 540+ offers. The highest package was 36 lacs and average was approx. 8 lacs. Especially in my course most of the students get placed but it is just the opposite for the other courses except B.A.(Hons.) Economics and as for my plans , I also aspire to get a high placement after the degree

- Faculty members didn't complete syllabus on time
- Campus is also very small as compared to some good colleges
- Library here doesn't re issues books for commerce department

My course name is Bachelor's of Commerce Hons. It's one of the most demanding course of Delhi University. It's very tough to get here in bcom hons. My faculty members are good enough but they are not supporting much

Form 5th semester students become eligible for college placements.
Many companies like bain and company, BCG , Accenture , Gartner , Deloitte, ey , PWC , rsa , byjus ,Wipro,puma , KPMG, axxela etc come for placement
Highest package was 36.5 Lpa average package was 7.9 pa , for top 25% students avg was 13lpa
540+ offers were made , gross package value was 40 Cr+
If you are a bcom hons student placement % is around 90%
My plan is doing mba after degree

- Whole the college was too good, main focus of the whole college staff was in studies.
- College library was very nice, many new things know get to know by reading the book
- Class room were very clean and also the corridors are also Clean
Dislikes
- Little light problem in library area, need of light
- Many dogs aree there in college , one dog has also Bitten one student
- Canteen was not open regularly I want canteen to open regularly

Because of my carrier growth.
Student Ratio is not so high , student strength was okay.
Teaching staff was very good, & cooperative.
Exams are conducted twice in a year, and exam are not so difficult.

- The societies here are very good. You get to learn so much from the societies.
- The faculty and study culture is really great.
- Hangout spots. The campus has a number of such spots. We have Mitii Cafe, LP, Ground, Block B area.
Dislikes
- The elections get a bit hectic.
- Holidays are a big issue.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because I wanted to acquire a proficiency in plays, theatre and novels. And I am very happy with the faculty and study culture here. I am in a class of around 100 students which is further divided into groups for the faculty to have a proper look at every student. The faculty sometimes seem overqualified by the skill and knowledge they possess. They are all experienced and seasoned in teaching. Apart from that we have regular assignments and tests at the end of the semester followed the term exams. These term exams are very important to enter the next sem. Each term or semester runs for around 5-6 months and these exams are very easy to pass if you have attended the classes regularly. And if not so, the teachers are ready to help whenever you want them to.

- The attendance update of students is not provide in official college site like other colleges
- In the hostel there is limited seats , around 300 seat only
- There is no department for the ba program course

There is many companies visit in hansraj like jio , tata etc
Almost 15-20%student getting placement

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.
Here are some of the best things about the institute.
- This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
- The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
- It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
- Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
- Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
- There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
- The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
- North Campus has the best college location.
You will not regret choosing the institute.
