The Sri Muthukumaran College of Education (SMCE), Chennai was established in 1996. It is affiliated by Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University and is self-financed college. The college offers Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) course. The college has been recognized by National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE).
