Sri Siddhartha College of Education, Tumkur was established in 1972, and founded by Late Sri H.M. Gangadharaiah. The institution is running under the Sri Siddhartha Education Society. The college is affiliated to the Tumkur University and approved by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
The main motto of institution is to provide qualitative training for the prospective teacher’s by helping them to acquire competencies, understand the importance of man in the society through education and to reach the goal with wholesome personality.
