Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya is a co-educational day College situated in Kolkata, West Bengal. The college was originally affiliated to the University of Calcutta. The affiliation of the college has now moved to the West Bengal State University, Barasat.
It was established on August 15, 1968. Mahadevananda Mahavidyalaya offers undergraduate level honors and general degree programs in the disciplines of Arts, Science, Commerce and Computer Applications to eligible students.

- The application fee can be paid through bank challan method or via online methods. Candidates having 55% marks in the Honors subject or related subject in the previous qualifying examination (10+2) are eligible to apply.
- Marks obtained in Environmental Studies/ Science as compulsory subject in 10+2 examination shall not be taken into account for calculating the aggregate marks in best four subjects for the purpose of admission.
- Candidates are selected on the basis of merit, i.e. marks obtained in the last qualifying exam.
