The main reason for opting this college is placements. On an average each student will get 3 placement opportunities in campus. Companies visited college are Cisco, Wipro, Adobe, Intel, Infosys, SAP labs, Harman, Accenture, micro chip etc. Steps in placements usually have 3 rounds 1. general aptitude 2. core questions 3. HR round. Nearly on an average 400 students are placed out of 600 students. Placement training in college usually starts in the start of 3rd year i. e 5th sem where they train us for placements.
Our college is mainly famous for placements and the placement coordinator is the alumni of our college itslef last year around 150 companies visited our college and placement percentage is 85.
My college stands one among the top 10 colleges of karnataka, it has excellent track record of companies visiting the campus each year CS and IS branch gets 100 percent placement, lots of core companies for other branches too visit the campus like, Royal Enfield, Tech Mahindra, Dell, HP, Sony, EY many more. Tentative percentage would 60 to attend the drive in most of the companies. My institution gave us the coaching for the placement. Generally procedure in drive is Aptitude and GD followed by Interview both technical and HR.
The placement head is lecturer but so many actions ans organizing are controlled by placement co ordinators ( selcted students) Aptitude and HR are the main rounds Around 70 perct students will placed The training will be organized in 3 rd year itself
Yes, this College has better placements and job opportunities and it also give a chance to do internship in many companies like IBM, Wipro, Infosys etc. Nearly more than 150 companies are coming to hire the students from this College such companies are ABB, Accolite, SAP labs, Infosys, Microsoft, IBM, Wipro technologies, Dell, Phillips etc. These companies offers a package starting from 4 lakh to 50 lakh per annum. This is very much good at placements literally.
The college has an excellent placement cell. Most of the students from my batch and my senior batch were placed in one or more companies. Nearly 80 to 90 percent of the students get placed every year. Salary offered ranges from 3,50,000 per year to 16,00,000 per year. Top companies including Dell, Robert Bosch, Adobe Systems, Netcracker technologies, McKinsey and many more offer the best of packages. Students were offered software developer and research related jobs. Internship opportunities are also good. The placement cell provides overall guidance to students.
Yes, College does provide internship offers. At my time, companies like Libre Wireless, Cisco, Dell, etc came for internship offers who eventually absorbed us to full-time jobs. You can also work as an intern for other companies out of college too.
Monthly scholarship will be provided for those who got into course via gate. There's another body TEQIP from college which provides scholarship based on few criteria.
As compared to other non Bengaluru college in Karnataka our college had best placement as I know from seniors in our hostel
