Since I was curious and interested in coding, so I choose the Computer Engineering course at this college. Faculty Student ratio is 4:6. And the faculties of are college teaches in an excellent way, one can see that all the lectures are taken by our college faculty is done using projectors, so that all the students can grasp the concept easily and effectively. Mostly all faculties have done Masters in their respective fields and there are also some faculty that have done PHDs in their respective branches. The duration of this course consists of 4 years, which means there is a total of 8 semesters. One can easily pass with flying colours if he/she attend the lectures sincerely.
I am doing B.Tech in Computer Engineering. The faculty-student Ration is 1:8/9. The teaching staff at the college are very good. They help you to get the concept clearly. Most of the faculty are M.Tech graduate. Total there is 8 semester in this course in 4 years. Each year consist of 2 semesters. We can easily pass our semester by attending the lecture.
Here The Course is a little outdated(Mumbai University). This year Our college has introduced AI Course also. Here Faculties are very good. They Are Very Experienced. Faculty and Student Ratio would be 10:1. Most of our Faculties are Mtech Graduates few did their PhDs also. Every Year there is 2 semesters and Each Semester has 2 IATs( unit test). If u prepare and Study well then it will be no difficulty in passing. It depends on the individual.
I've chosen Computer Engineering as I had an interest in this field since junior college. I always wanted to pursue a career in Computers and Universal College of Engineering provided me with an excellent opportunity of the same at my comfort. The faculty: student ratio is about 1:6 in every department including the Computer Department. There is a Head of Department, a Dean and several Assistant Professors in Computer Department. All faculties over here are at least a post graduate and have a specialization in some of the other stream under Computers. The most important factor I found is most of the faculties are quite young and have a fresh experience. Hence it becomes quite easy and smooth while communicating with them and contacting them form any reason without hesitation is possible. Even their teaching method is quite connecting to us as not much generation gap is involved. Exams are held regularly as per MU and level of exam is moderate; but well testing of knowledge is ensured thoroughly.
Basically, my huge interest in the Computer so I choosed the computer science branch I like to do coding most of the time. 60 student per faculty. Mostly sir and teachers are BTech our MTech some sir and teachers are PHDs.The exam is average if anyone takes all lectures seriously then he/she definitely going to pass the exam and term work is given on the bases of the attendance and students activeness.
I am always interested in coding stuff. So that's why I choose Computer Engineering Course. Faculty Student Ratio is 8/9:1. The faculty in my college teaches excellent. Most Faculties are M-Tech Graduates. Few are pursuing their PhD while teaching in our College. Total 8 semesters are present in the whole graduation, each year 2 semesters. In each semester in between, there will be 2 unit tests. Semester exams are not that difficult. U can easily pass the semester exams if u attend the College lectures. 75% attendance is Compulsory to Attend Semester exams. It is Mumbai University Criteria.
Courses available are like Civil, electrical, extc, and IT only other than that mechanical is not available in this college and this college never provide enough industrial exposure and for the faculty I think there only one person with good knowledge and that is Raj Devakar
Best, facilities really want everyone to score best, so they put so much efforts, and no much extra burden than other colleges. Lots of motivation and help to move on the career line which you really want too.
At first it's was feasible and sudden after completing first year the hike in fee was more than ?40, 000/- and it was expensive cause one also have to pay travelling fees if one is coming by college's bus. So, Yes it was expensive and being from open category affects many students which are from open category.
Exam structure and curriculum was well executed and one also has to give their best and every year we have 4-5 industrial visits related to our subjects. Which also helps to gain practical knowledge more better than theoretical. But still there are many areas they still need to progress, otherwise it's good.
Yes, I was having an interest since 10th std in coding. Faculties are very good for every subject 4 facilities are available Teaching methods are excellent the way they use online platforms for teaching are proving them they are best.
