It was close to my hometown and also it offers the degree from BIT Mesra Main Campus. The stream of Computer Science is booming and hence the placement opportunities are also commendable here which includes companies such as Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, One Plus, Oracle, Samsung etc. I'm currently placed in Amdocs via campus placement.
The company in which I'm currently placed in is Amdocs. It offered a package of 10lakhs and 12 students were selected from my college. The technical and interview rounds were smooth and well coordinated by the TPO cell. Many alumni are doing Mtech at IITs and few are IAS too.
The college is really good. The fees is maybe a little high but in the end its really worth it.
To apply for the course a candidate must have passed his 10+2 from a recognized board with subjects like physics, chemistry and mathematics. Then the candidate has to appear for the exam of JEE-Main and admission will be given on the basis of Central Seat Allocation Board or Joint Seat Allocation Authority. Because of the Tag BIT Mesra a well known private college. I have enough marks in Jermain to get a well known private college. so I choose BIT. I hoped that it will give my dreams a wing. Good packages new ideas to develop myself. To get a better future I had chosen BIT.
College send us mail for internship. Rest we have to do all processes ourselves. They don't provide any direct internships. Placement is also not so good. Only CSE department students are placed of maximum 15lakh yearly package.
College is good in sense of presence around the corporate network. Efforts is required to cope up with the academic. BIT has been known for its extend of academia. Campus is lush green but in summers water scarcity may be faced.
The neighbourhood of the college lacks enthusiasm that is it doesn't have much places to roam about especially during weekends after tiring schedule. The nearby city or town is 6 km away from the college.
Don't bother much if not got admission.if you have not got admission in that college then you maybe go to other college because this is also a short average college as compared to other colleges in spite of this saint xaviers college of Ranchi is better than this condition
Yeah the management is the worst . No one is supportive to the students . The college imposes very hefty fine on even small things . It's all about money what college looks for.
Management need to pay more attention on encouraging sports and should spend more funds on maintaining a good lab facilities . Attempt should be made to call companies for placement , rather than relying on main campus
