Course curriculum is good at imib, here we follow case study approach in which we get a chance to be in the shoes of managers and then take decisions.
The placement cell of the college was the best as we were given good opportunities to get into a good organization with a handsome salary.
Companies that offered sip are sbi, rbi, arvind fashion, sap, tommy hilfiger highest stipend -30,000 median stipend - 20,000 lowest stipend -10,000 sip projects will be evaluated by our faculty, on the basis of that best sip project award will be given

Dislikes

The college resides in outskirts so it becomes difficult to travel all the way to the city for recreational activities
The strict timing for entry and exit out of the campus is what I hate a little bit.
It is quite difficult for the nonvegetarian students to adapt the mess food.

Placement- IMI is well known for its strong placement record

In first year students are eligible for summer internships process and in second year students are eligible to final placement process. 100%. Placement of students. Companies like capgemini, icici bank, axis bank , Infosys.

In terms of ROI the college is a good option
Placements here are good and decent. Also the placements are 100% every year.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 students get eligible for the campus placements.There is an eligibility criteria for students to maintain 6 cgpa to sit for final placement. There is no such company which made no offer. Highest package goes upto 19 lpa and average placement goes upto 12 lpa depending on company and job role being offered. There is 100% placement from the college.

About the college

Likes

I like cultural events of the college the ambiance mostly
The classrooms , the tv lounges, the mess
MDP block, game area, the ambiance obviously

Dislikes

The hectic schedule of the college is i dislike the most
Classes timing are very headacheful , bad scheduling
Mess food is so oily and low in quality. Unhygienic as well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd semester student become eligible for internship and from 4th sem end there student become eligible for placements. 95-97% students are getting placed My plan after getting the degree to get a good placement and then to improve myself in the area i want to.

i like the study methdology and busy schedule as much as you get busy in mba life as much as you learn more.
my college campus as it is 16acer full ever green lush campus with a beautiful atmosphere. specially in rainy season .

Dislikes

i didnot like the managemnt system of college as its is bit confusing for me to understanding.

Placement Experience:

for final it is from the 4th sem and for summer placement it is from the 1st sem there are many companies like -debur, haldiram, icicici Bank, axis bank, Haladia Petrochemicals, nestle and many more. they vary from 8lpa to 15lpa highest - 19 lpa nestle average - 9-10 LPA 98% students get placement I will do a job for some time then start my business

Hostels rooms are good and spacious are cleaned everyday.
Placements are overall good. There are various leadership talks which helps a student to develop socially ad professionally.
Food and tea provided here is good to have it.

Dislikes

There is sometimes issue of water in the hostel
Location of the college is not very much adaptable for some of the students
Hostel administration is very strict in terms of timings and latecomers are fined for it

Placements are overall good here. Average package is 12 lpa and highest package is 19 lpa. Companies like HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank , Dabur, Nestle , Capegemini ,Infosys, TATA, Arcesium, Aditya Birla are the trusted recruiters.

College is totally student driven. The clubs and committes run independently under guidance of Area Chair

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 4th Term . The number of companies visited are ample. Every student is offered Internship opportunity and many with two internships offer with big names such as Dabur, Jio , JW Mariot, Luxiare ,Woxen , Capgemini etc. For Finals there are also big names such as PWC , Dabur , Marico , CCD and many more. There is 100% placements in college.

MAGIC AT IMI

Campus life, hostel rooms , faculty base and good environment
Greenery campus, Good mess food, A Nescafe and a CP for basic grocery needs like eatables
Weather of the city is quite pleasant. There is foggy all around in winter Mornings. And there is allowance of movement outside the college from 8am-7pm

Dislikes

During Summers, the weather becomes bad and too sticky
Mess food sometimes become difficult to eat because of the same food daily
The college resides in outskirts so it becomes difficult to travel all the way to the city for recreational activities

After the 1st year people choose their specialization and after the intership period they are eligible for placements. There are good companies during the placement process. As all colleges , it also has a rigorous process of interviews during the placement. Average package is around 900000

Our campus is out of bhubaneswar city, making transportation difficult

It completely aligns with my futures goals and objectives. It is a trimester program which offers knowledge in various subjects. In third trimester we are offered options subjects to choose from and also briefed about the subjects for second year.
