I chose BSc Physics for the love of the subject and because of its scope. But the curriculum is several decades old and needs reformation. It doesn't make you job-ready. There is no shortage of faculties in N. S. S. College, one could say that there are more faculties than needed, which is a good thing. All the professors are well-qualified. Of these, some are dedicated and passionate towards teaching, while others are just slackers who teach just to receive their salaries. According to the class time table, there are 5 periods of one hour each on a weekday. There aren't projectors in every class. They teach in the traditional chalk-and-blackboard method. During quarantine, they teach via Google meet and Google Classroom in irregular sessions. Internal exams are considerably easy, but the semester examination, conducted by the university was quite tough and the valuation was not liberal. That's not the college's fault, it's because of the university.
It was really feasible. In fact, the College being an aided college fully funded by the Government, it didn't collect much fees from the students except tuition fee of nominal amount and exams fees. At the time of admission, a nominal admission fee had to be paid.
Course consisted of English Paper, a paper on second language Hindi, Economics main papers, a paper on Quantitative Techniques, Political Science and History, Curriculum didn't seem to be research oriented. But it someway suited to the requirements to be a professional.
Fee structure is very cheap. Approximately 2000 - 5000 per annum. This amount is fixed for every college under the University of Kerala. Fee varies among different courses. But it doesn't exceed Rs.5000.
Well structured curriculum. Exam structure is sometimes difficult to follow. Exam results and timetables are usually published late. Since the college is affiliated to University of Kerala, college is not responsible for the inconvenience.
The fee structure is so feasible.the 3year course just costs a little adorable fees.more over lots of scholarship are there.only the exam fees are to be paid , that too very small amount.so every one can study here with comfort.
The course curriculum is based on semester system with two semesters per year.each semester contains internal as well as practical exams other than the main semester exam.then the marks are calculated by comparing all the curriculum activities.if we fail in any semester exam, there is a chance to write it the next year and improve the result.
Our college is a government college. So the fees are feasible I give 4000 ruppes per year. In my Era there exist yearly basis examinations. But now this system update and the government replacement the yearly system and introduce semester basis examination, but there is no incriminate in fee
We assess the course carefully to the teachers and college library. Actually now a days economics is a great choice. In case of IAS study an economics students is very helpful. In case of PhD we can many many subject because our day to day life is based on money. Economics the study of money
It is 3 year course and The main subject is Tax. It is on semester basis, one semester has 6 months. Every week, There is an class test conducted by the college. In one semester there is 2 internal exam or midterm exam conducted by college. It helps the students more easier for the semester exam conducted by kerala university.

In the heart of Pandalam town, there is the renowned college established by Nair Service Society in 1950. It is govt.-aided and affiliated to Kerala University, accredited B+ by NAAC as of 2020. Every year, 2500+ students pursue graduation and PG available for 14 courses in arts, sciences, commerce. The centralized allotment process takes place usually in mid-July. Students can apply online. Once the college is allotted, you're required to visit the college with necessary documents and money for admission. The admission procedure is simple and takes only one visit. I preferred this over other colleges because of transportation facilities, as well as the college's qualities that I had read aby Amrita
