Nirmala College for Women Coimbatore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this course out of passion. I had an interest in learning more about the English language. faculty students ratio is 40:1 .The faculty members are well-trained staff and they use different methods to teach.

Students are given placement training from the 4th semester and are actively engaged in placement activities. Companies such as KGisl, Amazon, Aditya Birla, and many more companies. Maximum students were placed at least in a company.

Microsoft, Google, Amazon, IBM, Arcesium, Adobe, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, Qualcomm, Philips, Goldman Sachs, Toshiba etc. My degree gives me a skill set that is useful for many jobs. For instance, I could start to work in government and particularly focus on public budgeting. My finance background also opens doors to work in large businesses and I have come across several suitable starting positions at multinational companies.

We have a separate placement cell which is led by a team of faculty and student leaders. We are given excellent training for the interviews and other exams by a separate team who r the HRs of various companies. We are also well-trained in aptitude, reasoning and logical thinking. All the final-year students (both UG and PG) are eligible for campus placements. Some companies recruit second-year students also. They also join when they are called. For this academic year, till now around 30 companies like KGIS, Audi, Adithya Brilla, TruLeaf, RnD Softech, National Model School, Amity University, etc have come for recruitment. Almost 80% of our students are placed in at least one of the companies. The maximum package was 4,00,000/- and the minimum package was 2,00,000/- per annum. We do have recruitment for part-time jobs. I'm already selected by 4 companies for a good package. But I also want to pursue higher studies. I'm yet to take a decision between both.

The final year students who will be going to write their last semester will be eligible to attend the placements. There are different companies and various opportunities for students in various departments. The students should be with at least 60% will get the job in placement. All the companies for the placement drive will mainly check their English fluency and their boldness to speak to others. After that, they will check the student's knowledge whether they will fit for their job or not. Most of the students who don't select on a placement drive will have a backup plan to do Msc or MBA or any other preparations for govt exam.

Nirmala College for Women is an autonomous institution in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India. It is re-accredited by NAAC with "A" Grade. The college admits undergraduates and post-graduates and offers degrees in the liberal arts, sciences and commerce. The institution was affiliated with Madras University till 1981[1] and thereafter affiliated with the Bharathiar UniversityThe students of Nirmala college excel in sports especially in weightlifting.

Good campus, more recruitment, good teaching, interactive teachers, cultural activities, they will also focus on our talents and will encourage them, and make us confident, we have full freedom to express our thoughts

Parents decision I did not have any desire to join this college the one benefit is that the college is girls college nothing more no good educated faculty and staffs and no good infrastructure but many join here for low fees system choosing here is a bad idea

The minimum eligibility for getting admission was to qualify three years of graduation or its equivalent from a recognised university. After qualifying my Bachelor of Arts in Economics , i took admission in this course. The admission was totally based on the marks obtained in the graduation.
