Sri Parasakthi College for Women, Tirunelveli was established in 1964 and is running under the management of Hindu Religious & Charitable Endowment Department. It is affiliated to Manonmaniam Sundaranar University and approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the field of arts, science and commerce. Many of students from this Institute participates in state level, university level and national level sports competitions.
The main objective of the college is to provide higher education to the rural girls, so they can also contribute in national growth. It always contribute to national development through the rural women's empowerment and upliftment. Admission of students are made as per norms of Tamil Nadu Govt.
