SOA University MCA : Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

The college's faculty is generally viewed as mediocre, with only a few considered proficient. The placement cell faces criticism for its lack of transparency, and there is a gap between promises and actual outcomes. Students can participate in placements starting from the 3rd semester, with an average salary package for MCA graduates ranging from 3.5 to 7 lakh, and the top package reaching 8 lakhs. While it is claimed that 99% of students receive placements annually, some reports suggest only 45% to 60% secure on-campus placements.

The college facilitates internships from the 3rd semester, lasting 1 to 3 months, and offers placement classes without extra charges. Despite fewer companies visiting due to market conditions, firms like TCS, Microsoft, and Deloitte actively recruit from the campus. The exam marking scheme includes 40 marks from internal assessments and 60 from semester exams. SOA provides merit-based scholarships, awarding students with over 80% in semester exams, and those with more than 75% in their 12th-grade exams may receive external scholarships.

A CGPA above 9 can earn a 25,000 INR scholarship, split into two parts of 12,500 INR each. The MCA program's tuition fee is 360,000 INR, or 90,000 INR per semester. Hostel fees are about 120,000 INR annually for a non-AC 4-sharing room, with mess fees around 16,000 INR per year, plus a refundable 5,000 INR caution deposit. Despite rising tuition fees, SOA's scholarship offerings help ease financial pressures on students.
