What is SAAT 2027?

SAAT stands for Siksha ’O’ Anusandhan Admission Test. SOA Deemed to be University conducts it every year for admission to engineering, pharmacy, nursing, agriculture, law, management, and other programs at its campus in Bhubaneswar, Odisha.

SOA University was established in 1996 as the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER) and received deemed university status in 2007. It holds a NAAC A++ accreditation — the highest possible — and runs on a 127-acre urban campus in Bhubaneswar. Around 14,000 students study here across disciplines. Several B.Tech programs carry ABET and NBA accreditations, which strengthens graduate placement prospects.

SAAT is conducted in online (Computer-Based Test) mode. SAAT 2027 Eligibility Criteria

For B.Tech Programs

• You must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board.

For B.Pharm Programs

• You must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics.

For B.Sc Nursing

How to Apply for SAAT 2027

The SAAT 2027 application process will be entirely online at admission.soa.ac.in. Applying for SAAT is completely free — SOA University charges no registration fee. Based on the SAAT 2026 process, here are the steps you need to follow once the form opens.

1. Register online: Go to admission.soa.ac.in and create a new account using your email ID and mobile number. You will receive login credentials on your registered email.
2. Fill the application form: Log in and enter your personal details, academic qualification, and choose the program(s) you want to apply for.
3. Upload documents: Upload a scanned passport-size photograph (less than 1 MB; JPG, PNG, GIF, or JPEG format) and other required documents.
4. Review and submit: Check all entered details carefully before clicking Submit. Corrections after submission may not be possible.
5. Download confirmation: Save or print the application confirmation page for future reference.

Preparation Tips for SAAT 2027

SAAT 2027 is an NCERT-based exam with no negative marking. With the right strategy, you can score well even without expensive coaching. Here are practical tips to get you ready.

Start with NCERT — Cover Both Classes 11 and 12

The SAAT syllabus maps directly to NCERT Class 11 and 12. Many students make the mistake of focusing only on Class 12 topics. SAAT distributes questions across both years, so topics like Laws of Motion (Class 11 Physics), Organic Chemistry Basics (Class 11 Chemistry), and Sets and Functions (Class 11 Maths) will appear. Prioritize Chemistry — It Is the Most Predictable Section
