The college is a very good institution and undoubtedly one of the best academy for Marine education. it will not only focus on studies but on the all round development of the student. The campus is completely student friendly but it has a lot of rules and regulations.
I think to know about this certification course and about this college through one of my friends who is pursuing BTech in Marine Engineering from this college. I decided to take admission in the medical care certification course as I was interested in it. Admission process was done online and on its basis of merit list was prepared . this is how I got admission in the college.
I found the college really helpful for me and not just my course, the other courses and streams in the college provide excellent education. It is one of the best institutes in India that provide Marine education. I had the time of my life in the college.

This college was my best decision. I had some queries regarding this college management as I found some bad reviews from some students. But lastly when I saw everything from my eyes all my queries got dissolved here. Here's fees is very hiked but it's totally totally worth it

My college offered lots of pre sea and post sea programs for the students whole over the world. The shortest duration courses was certification courses and longest ones b.tech degree. I took admission in b.tech program by giving entrance exam called IMU-CET.
All the jobs and internship opportunities were provided by the college management. During our first year inside the college we had career counselling, and this helped us in making our further paths. Jobs and job opportunities are very thin. Provides college jobs for all cleared students. Others are gone. So this is an area where the college needs to improve. College internships are also offered at the training area, Cochin Shipyard. No stipend was given.

before you take an admission in this course, it is important that you have successfully obtained a degree or diploma from a recognised university. Along with that, minimum percentile also matters. Students with less that 50% won't get an admission.

B. Tech marine engineering is provided by the academy to the students who have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board with at least 45 percent marks. Then they will have to apply and the students will be selected on interview basis.
On campus placements are organized for the students. Various companies visit the campus and recruit the students. There are pre training in which students are guided for the interviews and professional workplace.

Our college offers us with the best opportunities in terms of careers. Seniors in ETO departments were placed in MAERSK which is a Danish integrated shipping company.Within this four month curriculum we were offered internship for practicing our skills and give it a final go.
