IITM Murthal Placement 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

The college has a placement cell, and several prominent companies such as Vodafone, Godrej, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Google, and others have visited for recruitment. The highest package offered was 35 lakh per annum, with an average starting salary around 10 lakh per annum, which may increase to 15-16 lakh.

Placement eligibility generally starts from the 6th or 7th semester. However, there are mixed reviews about the effectiveness of the placement cell, with reports of only local companies offering 1-3 lakh packages, and limited internship opportunities. The overall placement rate is reported to be between 60% and 80%, varying with academic performance and skill set.
