Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science & Technology (DCRUST), Murthal (Sonepat) previously known as Chhotu Ram State College of Engineering. DCRUST is a State University is accredited by NAAC with Grade ‘A’ and known for offering quality education in Management, Engineering, Architecture, Humanities, etc. The Engineering courses offered by the University are accredited by NBA. The admission to DCRUST is done on the basis of merit in the qualifying examinations and national level entrance examinations like JEE Main, GATE, etc.
DCRUST Undergraduate Courses and Eligibility
B.E and B.Tech Eligibility
The candidate should have done 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology from a recognized board. The admission will be made on the basis of marks scored in JEE Main examination.
The applicant should have done 10+2 with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. The admission will be made on the basis of marks scored in the NATA examination.
To take admission to the BCA program, the applicant should have passed 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% marks and must have studied Mathematics as a compulsory subject.
BBA and BHM Eligibility
To apply to the BBA and BHM programs, the eligibility is scoring 40% marks in 10+2 from a recognized board or an equivalent examination.
DCRUST Postgraduate Courses and Eligibility
At DCRUST, M.Tech program is offered to the candidates who have obtained B.E/B.Tech degree in the concerned discipline with 55% marks from any recognized University. The GATE qualified candidates will be given preference.
A candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks from a recognized University and should have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or Graduation level.
The M.Sc program is offered in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics. The applicant must have done B.Sc or B.Sc (Hons) with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University.
The admission to the M.Arch program will be made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. The aggregate should be 50% marks in the qualifying paper.
MBA (2-Year Program) Eligibility
The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 50% marks from a recognized University to apply to the program.
MBA (5-Year Program) Eligibility
The candidates can opt for an integrated program if they have passed 10th, 12th or equivalent qualification from recognized Central or State board. The aggregate score should be a minimum of 50% marks at 10+2 level. The selection process will include an aptitude test, group discussion, and personal interview.
The admission to the Master in Hospital Administration (MHA) will be made on the basis of merit in the qualifying examination. The MD/MS/MDS/MBBS/BDS/M.Tech (Biomedical)/B.Tech (Biomedical)/BPT/B. Pharma etc., are eligible to apply to the program.
DCRUST Ph.D. Eligibility
For DCRUST Ph.D. admission, the applicant must possess a Master’s degree in the appropriate discipline with at least 55% marks. The eligible applicants will need to qualify the entrance test of the University. The UGC/CSIR/DBT (JRF/SRF) qualified candidates are exempted from the test.
