IMCOST Admission Dates 2026

IMCOST admissions for the 2026-27 session are anchored by DTE Maharashtra CAP. MMS counselling is in the later rounds following the MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2026 result. MCA counselling runs on a parallel track through the MAH-MCA-CET process.

Candidates who appear in national management exams (CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA) are also eligible for MMS admission at IMCOST through the Maharashtra CAP process, which accepts multiple exam scores beyond MAH-MBA/MMS-CET.

IMCOST Courses and Fees

IMCOST offers two postgraduate programmes: MMS across four specialisations and MCA. The MMS total fee is INR 2,31,000 for two years, uniform across all four specialisations. MCA is INR 1,60,000 for the full programme.

MMS at IMCOST is the University of Mumbai’s official postgraduate management qualification, equivalent to MBA and awarded by the University of Mumbai. The per-semester MMS fee works out to approximately INR 57,750 across four semesters. MCA works out to INR 40,000 per semester. No hostel is available at IMCOST and students arrange accommodation independently in Thane or adjacent Mumbai localities.

IMCOST Admission Process

All admissions at IMCOST are through DTE Maharashtra CAP. The college does not conduct its own entrance test. Maharashtra domicile candidates apply under the state-quota and non-Maharashtra (OMS) candidates apply under the open-merit category.

MMS Admission Process

• Eligibility: Any bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with a minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved category candidates). Final-year degree students may apply provisionally.
• Exam: Valid MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2026 score, or an equivalent national score (CAT, CMAT, XAT, MAT, or ATMA). Multiple exam scores are accepted in the Maharashtra CAP system.
• Counselling: DTE Maharashtra CAP at mahacet.org. Involves CAP registration, document verification, option form submission, and seat allotment reporting.
• Specialisation: Finance, Human Resource, Marketing, and Operations. Specialisation allocation follows the seat matrix at each CAP round.

MCA Admission Process

• Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in any stream. Mathematics must have been studied at 10+2 or degree level (at least one paper). Minimum 50% aggregate at graduation (45% for reserved categories).
• Exam: MAH-MCA-CET 2026 score is required for the Maharashtra CAP route. CAP counselling is managed by DTE Maharashtra at cetcell.mahacet.org.

IMCOST Placements

IMCOST MMS graduates enter roles in finance, marketing, operations, and HR management, primarily in the Mumbai-Thane corporate belt. ASM’s IMCOST is located at C-4, Wagle Industrial Estate, Near Mulund Check Naka, Thane West, Mumbai 400604. Wagle Industrial Estate is a major commercial and industrial zone in Thane, with road connectivity to Mulund (Mumbai) and Thane railway station. The campus is accessible from Thane and Mulund railway stations by auto or bus.

IMCOST operates as a focused postgraduate institute with management and computer science labs, seminar rooms, and a library.
