Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) diploma from an INC/RGUHS-recognised institution with a minimum of 50 percent marks (45 percent for Karnataka SC/ST candidates). Candidates must be a registered nurse with the Karnataka Nursing Council and must have completed at least one year of work experience as a registered nurse after GNM. Male candidates require only General Nursing (GN) diploma registration where midwifery is not applicable.

Admission is through RGUHS-coordinated P.B.B.Sc Nursing counselling (rguhs.ac.in; July to August 2026 tentative). No separate entrance exam is conducted; selection is based on GNM marks and years of registered nursing experience. Admission Process
