NIFT Shillong Campus
NIFT Shillong campus spans 20 acres. The campus is a part of the new Shillong township that comprises prestigious institutes such as IIM, IHM, NEIGRIHMS, and honorable social bodies such as the United Nations resource centre, Shillong International Centre for Performing Arts, English & Foreign Languages University, and many more. Students are provided with a library (Resource Center). The Resource Centre has a Total Book collection of 6500. It also has access to 209 e-books, 10 online databases & 80 Forecasts, a canteen, a sports zone, a medical doctor, Internet access, and transportation facilities.
The NIFT Shillong provides hostel facilities both Inside and outside the campus. Two hostels are on campus, one for PG Girls students with a capacity of 17 and the other for Boys on a triple-sharing basis. One Girl’s hostel is outside the campus, which has a capacity of 108 UG students. Hostel accommodation is provided as per availability, on ‘First Come First Serve Basis’, and the students are allowed to join the hostel only after payment of full hostel fees.
