MMCOP Pune Admission Dates 2026

Admissions for the 2026-27 academic session at MMCOP Pune are conducted by DTE Maharashtra through centralised CAP rounds at mahacet.org. B.Pharm, D.Pharm, and Pharm.D admissions are based on MHT-CET merit. M.Pharm requires a valid GPAT score. CAP allotment rounds are currently in progress for all levels.

MMCOP Pune Courses and Fees

MMCOP Pune offers pharmacy programmes from diploma to doctoral level, all on a single campus affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Total fees range from INR 65,550 for Ph.D. programmes to INR 6,91,300 for B.Pharm. All three M.Pharm specialisations are uniformly priced at INR 2,85,500.

The B.Pharm intake is 60 seats. The Medicinal Plant Garden and DSIR-recognised research laboratory support M.Pharm and Ph.D. programmes in Pharmacognosy and Pharmaceutics.

MMCOP Pune Admission Process

All MMCOP Pune admissions flow through DTE Maharashtra CAP. The college does not conduct any independent entrance test. Candidates who miss the CAP registration deadline may apply for Non-CAP (institute-level) seats directly at the college.

B.Pharm and D.Pharm Admission

B.Pharm and D.Pharm require Class 12 with Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects plus Mathematics or Biology. Minimum aggregate for General category is 45%. Reserved category candidates require 40%. A valid, non-zero MHT-CET (PCB) score is mandatory for both programmes.

Pharm.D (6-year) follows the same MHT-CET or NEET-UG merit-based CAP route. D.Pharm holders can also join Pharm.D at the Post-Baccalaureate level through a separate DTE process.

M.Pharm Admission

M.Pharm at MMCOP Pune requires a B.Pharm degree with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved and sponsored candidates). A non-zero GPAT score is mandatory for all candidates. Sponsored candidates additionally need two years of industry experience with an employer sponsorship letter.

Ph.D. Admission

Ph.D. programmes in Pharmaceutics and Pharmacognosy follow the SPPU doctoral admissions process. Eligible candidates hold an M.Pharm degree with minimum 55% marks. UGC-NET/SET qualification or a valid GPAT score may be required depending on the supervisor’s intake.

MMCOP Pune Career Outcomes

MMCOP Pune does not publish formal campus placement statistics. Graduates from the B.Pharm, M.Pharm, and Pharm.D programmes enter pharmaceutical manufacturing, hospital pharmacy, clinical research, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs roles. The Pimpri Chinchwad industrial belt, home to several pharmaceutical companies, provides strong local employment opportunities for pharmacy graduates.

MMCOP Pune’s NAAC A+ grade and NIRF ranking distinguish it from most private pharmacy colleges in Pune.
