NSHM Knowledge Campus Durgapur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college's campus placement is quite good, with the majority of students getting jobs. Many reputed companies visit the campus every year. Though the average package offered is not desirable, a good package can still be attained.

I am very pleased with the placements. The majority of students are placed in good companies through 42 placement drives. As a result of the outstanding learning culture of our BCA department, I received offers from 3 multinational companies. I was also selected for the Google Summer of Code.

Placement in my college is around 95%. Here so many companies are attached to our college for example - Larson and Toubro, ultratech, pinnacle, simplex, etc. Before facing any placement meeting we offered training sessions for good performance in placement meetings.

The students pursuing BCA, are eligible for placements from their 5th semester. They need to have at least 60% marks throughout their academic session. If you are at least an average student, you can at least be placed in one company. For bright students, more than one placements are to be expected. Faculties work very hard for placements.

Most of students were placed in the course, the highest salary offered was 3,60,000 p. a. and the lowest salary offered was 1,20,000 p. a. , top recruitment companies for our course was TCS, Deloitte, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro. Top roles are software developer, software tester, web developer and etc.

When the students are in the 4th semester they are eligible for giving interviews or eligible for campus placement. Companies such as WIPRO, TCS etc. The highest package is about 400000 and the minimum package is of about 150000. The percentage of the students getting placement is about 75% After getting this degree further I will do MCA and all I want to work in Google main office which is in California, United States as a Software engineer this is my dream job

Around 50% of students get placed from our college the highest salary offered 25000per month in this course and lowest salary offered in this course is 13000 per month. Some placements were in Wipro and TCS.

Right when you set foot in 2nd year, you are armed up with job interviews and prep work. You get workshops and several other preparations to build up your confidence. Classes for communication, body language, posture, ethics all are provided before you step for an interview. Companies like WIPRO, TCS, Capgemini and many more were provided for placements. Total of 42 companies were provided.

Placements start in the 4th semester and by the time a student reaches the 6th-semester end, 10 to 22 placements drives are conducted and those who do the classes regularly bag at least 3 to 4 offer letters. This year college has provided 6th-semester students to join early. Students have joined WIPRO, Google SOC, Infosys, etc before the course ended!

Students start getting placement offers from the end of the 4th semester itself. To date, the highest package offered is most probably 12 lacs per annum and the average is 4-5 lacs per annum. Almost 80% of the students get placed in a particular section. As per my planning, I want to get into a tech giant company.
