Being a government college the fees are very feasible. 50k a year compared to the 25lakhs a year that private colleges take. Initially fees were accepted in cash as well but now strictly demand drafts are the only mode of payment. A complete breakdown of the fee structure is given and no additional charges.
The curriculum was the standard mbbs curriculum decided my the MCI. Divided in 4. 5 years followed by 1 year of internship. The initial 4. 5yrs included theorotical as well as practical aspects and patient interraction was started from 2nd yr itself. Being a government college the patient load was very good and we got a lot of exposure to various cases that improved our clinical knowledge.
Exam was in MCQ pattern with 11th & 12th syllabus, there was 1 mark to each right answer and without negative marking, it was out of 200 but now a days NEET exam is there which is of 720 marks with 5 mark to each question and with a negative marking pattern, each wrong answer will deduct 4 marks.
This Medical college is of government.so the fees are feasible. fees should be paid in single instalment in the form of demand draft(DD) at the time of admission.the fees for all years is different and it is paid at the starting of the respective academic year.
Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of surgery(MBBS) is courses course of medical education. Mostly all patients prefer MBBS doctor for there treatment. all the surgeries are must be handled by MBBS doctor and post graduated doctors. Emergency patients cannot be handled by other doctors like BAMS, BHMS, BUMS etc so such patients must require MBBS doctors that MBBS doctor has more value than other doctors.
As of Government college it is likely too expensive, as of now it is around 1 lacs. But as of seeing private colleges which has fees around 10-15 lacs it is quiet feasible. It is to be paid as of year wise.
